Hmm, more evidence of content that will come in a "later patch" im sure. The steam distribution system seems suited to unfinished and half arsed productions where they can update their game widely and instantly without people even knowing steam is patching in the background. This can only lead to more and more premature and lazy releases across the board from all game producers.

Don't worry domokun. It will use both vilas and cwr2 weapon models that we have access to provided to me by Alex or made by myself and Sander, but it wont be dependant upon either cwr2 or p85. Project 82 will be self contained. -

To add to what Cimalex said. I have made Argentinian troops for this, and I intend to create a P82 weapons pack using the FALs from my UK and the NL packs to equip them. As I understand this wont be dependant upon CWR2. -
Op has a point.. FIA on BLUFOR = fail. Sorry BIS it just doesn't feel ARMA, like the way ARMA 2 felt OFP. The game has no grounding, nothing to make you care or relate you to its setting or non-existent/not-yet-ready story. Its just two islands, and three almost identical factions, with an identically armed insurgent group. A sandbox with toys, but no reason to play. A good campaign can save this, so I beg you not to fuck it up.

I am impressed with this mod. This needs to be in ARMA 3, because maybe then it will be returned to some of the original grounding and feel that the OFP/ARMA series has always had which is lacking in the new game, plus a good slogging match with the Russians and the Americans. I can see this mod as being the first successful one to introduce such a scenario into the new engine. -
The 4 Rifle units by StalkerGB are not the same models and units as the BAF expansion pack. The MTP brits replacement pack that was going around a while ago are though, but they were reskinned by Sabre who I believe had permission and liscence from BI to do so.

Technically yes there is, with setobjecttexture, but you would have to create the texture yourself and I believe the BAF textures are mighty tricky to get hold of to work from.

Nice work tom. I just completed Beach Raid and started Roadblock. Beach Raid was a little easy. Didn't lose a single guy and seemed to just smash everything up. I destroyed the boats from the top of the hill with the LAW meaning that we didn't have to fight anybody by the port so you might want to reduce the amount of AT weapons available. A few tips on improving the polish of the missions too, the task markers on the map don't have captions over them when you mouse over them. Manually setting load outs would avoid having to have SAS members integrated into the players squad only because they carry explosives. Seems odd that some SAS lads are working directly with the RM commandos or Maroon machines in the same section. The FV432 in Roadblock was chopsin about going to loads of waypoints trying to keep it driving down the road. If you want it to drive down the road and stay on the road set its behaviour to "SAFE" Cheers. -
Turns out he does have a round for the gustav in the config. The error is that he carries an extra magazine therefore its pushed out of the inventory slots by default. I have fixed it anyway.

Is that the gustav gunner for the uk paras? I shall fix that when I get back on my pc later. Shouldn't be too long forthe next update of the uk pack but we can always release a hotfix patch in the meantime if its an issue.

This expansion, to go alongside Sander's current (secret) project, will be CWR2 VMF. Done in the same style as the NL and UK reinforcement expansions. Not too all encompassing but good enough additions to make gameplay different and to give more inspiration for different scenarios or mission remakes. It is still far from done. Indeed. We have CWR2 T-55 with added ERA, courtesy of the RHS team, and MTLB-M from Arma.ua with NSVT remote turret. Landing craft is an issue I would like to address but unless anyone has a model of a Polnocny class LST going spare there is not much I can do. The original OFP LST is in game already and is a pretty good stand in providing that you stand more than 400 meters from it :D -

Hi lads. Im not usually one for modding vehicles, I usually stick to infantry, but what im working on at the moment is having a problem. I took the basic tracks of the shilka mlod for the model but when im driving my vehicle around ingame the tracks go backwards. The road wheels go forward and the vehicle goes forward when w is pressed, but the tracks animate backward. How can I correct this? Cheers lads.

Update v1.5. Brings us up to 19 missions now folks. Will do some more soon. Fixed a few identified bugs (I hope). Added: New Mission RHS_c080_DoubleDesant.Chernarus.pbo A mounted VDV unit must seize Rogovo and Pogorevka from CDF forces then await support from local militia forces whilst defending their gains. Funny you should say that because me and Sander were talking about the Milan a few nights ago. I might think to put one on a Landrover but not as an individual crew weapon. There is no other such weapons in CWR2 mod at the moment I think. On another note, here are some screens of what im working on at the moment anyway. Cheers overlord :p. Seriously though they wouldn't mind if I did a unit replacement version if I gaveall due credit, and due credit to the cwr2 team for fixing 1985 for arma 2. That said however its not a definate thing. Me and trouble are good pals, but it takes time to rework his gear for cwr. It took some good pals of mine and myself long hours to make his bedfords and challenger useable in cwr2. Texture remapping is a pain in the dick quite frankly. As I sai I want to get content I'm working on finished first. There will be more missions in next patch too. Laser, Ground Attack, and Landrover :) -

I did have this idea before. However it would require a lot of content creation. I would need analogues to all american kit in the game. I'm working on the landrover then the legendary FRS.1. Harrier at the moment. But it would need an older tank to emulate the m60 in early robert hammer missions, it would also need an attack helicopter to represent the cobras in all the missions with cobras in. It also would take a lot of work actually conerting the missions. There are 8 missions to play with at the moment with plenty of variety so get your teeth in. Also sander does have some uk missions in his pack just not using the plethora of new kit.
