I used to use my onboard soundcard -> http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2986 <- but that gave me problems with the sound in my rear speakers so i took the soundcard from my old computer which also is a Audigy 2 card :p But without @ACEX_SM the sound is fading out fine! -

The reason why i have no problems seeing is because i have "Postprocess effects" turned off. With it on i can't see a damn thing :p -

Am i the only one having this issue, in that case i need to buy a new soundcard. But would someone please try this repro and tell me what they think. http://www.filefactory.com/file/a14e30c/n/Sound_issue.utes.pbo 1. Load up ArmA 2 with @ACEX_SM and start the Sound_issue mission. 2. Shoot at the enemies at the end of the runway. 3. The enemies start to shoot back, now listen to the sound of their gun fire. The enemies is 500m aways but it sounds MUCH closer! Now try the same without @ACEX_SM and hear the difference. It's like with @ACEX_SM there's barely no fadeout! Can someone confirm this or is it time for me to get a new soundcard :p -

I'm have a minor sound issue but i'm not sure if it's my end because i have had sound problems before. When i get fired upon it's hard to tell by the loudness of the firing gun if it's 50m or 300m away. I often find myself looking for the shooter within short distance to find out the guy was 300m+ away! anybody having this sound "issue"? -

Thats because AI and buildings are not coop'ing well. I also get a objective complete message from time to time when a AI decides to commit suicide but thats far from everytime. But i'll give it a look and see if i can improve it. If you find it too hard i suggest you change enemy skills and accuracy in your profile. A few hints: 1. Have patience. 2. Make sure AI isn't looking your way when shooting. 3. Avoid shooting at non designated targets. 4. Make an getaway plan before you engage. 5. Hit your target with first bullet. 6. Makes sure the coast is clear before running from one position to another. *EDIT* Mission updated see first post (only the filefactory link is update version vice).

Well it's optional in the sense that you can choose to play on servers that forces crosshair off and thats because crosshair is an option :) When you host or play singleplayer YOU have the option. -

I can see in moonlight and in cloudy/bad weather without any problems! Maybe it's the gamma/brightness settings or the settings in the monitor itself. I remember back in the Delta Force: BHD days i was really annoyed by people seeing me hiding inside dark buildings without any problems, then later on i bought a new monitor and everything became clear, it was only pitch black on my monitor LOL :D -
Personally i didn't notice it as i didn't use any of those functions while testing, but it was mentioned a few posts back which made me make a non parachute version. Manzilla mentioned a workaround just haven't had the time to look into it yet... maybe today :) *EDIT* Mission updated, see first post :)

When a new beta comes out you can just use the uninstaller in the beta patch package to uninstall the old beta(just to be safe) and then install the new beta thats all. -

Erhhm maybe i'm missunderstanding you but you can edit the difficulty setting, like selecting regular and then edit it so you got no crosshair! -

Kinda similar when your playing as leader yourself and decides to withdraw then your AI mates often decides to stay a little longer before following you which often leads to fallen team mates. -

Your correct the RHIB doesn't move in the dam, weird :p I guess you mean the Quesh-Kibrul video, it's not really a mission rather a setup for the video :)

I loaded up utes in editor added a AI controlled RHIB in the water with a waypoint on the coast, then i put my self in the RHIB as cargo... the RHIB sailed to the coast as supposed too.

According to Alex72 it doesn't matter where you are on the map aslong as there's those "needle" trees( christmas trees :p ), so just take a walk in the forest :) -

Try and see if this is usable: http://www.filefactory.com/file/a133cbd/n/FlareAlarm.utes.zip When you spawn walk straight ahead and you'll get detected. Walk back out of trigger area to get undetected.
