init line of a spawned unit?
jw custom replied to carlostex's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
_vehicle = _sv select 0; // vehicle spawned _vehicle setVehicleInit "(group this) setVariable ['CEP_disableCache',true,true]; null = [this, 'markername', number of lives, time until respawn, external script] execVM 'script_name.sqf'"; processInitCommands; Of course you need to set the parameters in the respawn script. -

Yeah CM is good at making it appear nice. Just like someone said about Dragon Rising, it's like Lady Gaga it looks decent at distance but when you come up close it's not that good. -

1. Thats a problem on my end, i simply referred to wrong array, doh(thats fixed in Rise'n'shine). 2/3. Thats a problem that "broke" revive script when OA came(personally i feel OA brought more annoyances than joy). @galzohar My CPU: Core I7 920. Thanks for reporting back  -

You can play it SP . Multiplayer->New Select LAN and press ok. But yes i have been thinking about making a good single player mission and have a lot of ideas but little time. -

Mission updated. I feel similar but it's the way the majority seems to want. Anyway you can just set the number of lives parameter 1. -

It is possible client side, not sure if it can be done by simple a script/mod though but if not i suggest you to leave it alone :) -
PVP, "head bob cheating" ?
jw custom replied to granQ's topic in ARMA 2 & OA : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
Does no crosshair/3rd person make you physical sick? We already have tons of mods/DLC's that are filtering people, do we really need yet another? If so should we also force VD as already mentioned? -
True. Yes thats it, yet Gadaffi claimed his forces was figthing al-qaeda. Only supporters Gadaffi have is people who financially benefits from him and people who wanna save their lives. Sure there will always be people who supports him anyway but thats most likely small numbers.
-
Very nice
-
Sure the rebels broke the ceasefire, Gadaffi was of course just fighting al-qaeda in the suburbans of Benghazi... lmfao Yeah right.
-
@Big Mac I'm referring to your "saying" that: you know what you got but you don't know what you get. I'm asking if it's only valid when it comes to the Lybia discussion and whenever it fits you?
-
Yes, if you and Gadaffi says so then it must be true :j:
-
So your saying only works on Lybia and whenever it fits you?
-
Of course not :j:
-
Ohhhh okay..... lmfao :p
-
and you base that on?
-
I do not compare it to WW2 but if your saying works on Gadaffi it should work anywhere. Nobody knew how WW2 would end when entering it. Before they would manage to act if ever Gadaffi would have rolled over benghazi and left a blood bath.... wouldn't really call that a "perfect solution".
-
Doesn't matter, your point was that you know what you have but you don't know what you get.... which in this matter is so very very wrong. Using our military to slaughter our own countries civilians? :j: I don't know who your trying to fool, i do know Gadaffi is feeding his own population with his propoganda bs because they are cut off from the rest of the world. Sure that would have been the far best solution, but before they would get their fingers out if ever the tradigy would already had happened.
-
Great thinking, it would probably be different if you were from a part of the world where you would be tortured/killed if you had your own opinion.
-
Yeah thats a great argument right there
