Max pre-rendered frames in my nvidia control panel is set to 8. Dunno how it works for ATI cards so i didn't mention it. MaxFramesAhead is set to 1000 as default. I just posted my settings as they are and they work fine my end maybe they will for others aswell.

Agree :) If you not already have then you should really try latest beta version, it really have improved performance.

Same here so thanks for the info :) I'm sure that i'm not the only one who learned something new today :D It works very well, much faster than going prone and then back to crouch again to return fire.

I have a Core i7 + GTX 285 here's my settings: In ArmA2.cfg: GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=4; Mouse settings ingame: With these settings my mouse handling is perfect!

Ohh no not the FarCry/Crysis comparison again :banghead: I can place hundreds of units and still play fine, sure my fps drops with such amount of units but it's still running more than decently.

Well i haven't played after 1.5 but before i was often waiting for room on popular 64 player servers, those monitored that be :p Finding full 50-70 ping servers was never a problem for me :)

Don't think there's an option for that(weird). Selecting "unknown" shows nothing!

I once had this problem and solved it by doing the 2nd suggestion. 1.) Check the filter option to make sure your not filtering stuff out. 2.) Disable windows own firewall.

I've never had problems finding a server in BF2 with a decent ping. Last time i played BF2 was a few months back. I'd say keep you CPU @ default clocking, doubt you'll gain much by overclocking it. Some people are experiencing ArmA 2 instability when overclocking.

You came here claiming that more and more people are getting that "Recieving" bug and crashes and that simple not true as fewer and fewer are getting them. It's been proved many times in the trouble shooting forum that heat causes problems like CTD's(not sure about "recieving"). Some people refuse to accept that as could be the problem while other listen and do something about it. Some has solved the "Recieving" problem by flushing the memory, so maybe you should start reading a little in the trouble shooting forum it could pay off.
