  2. Offshore Landing Platform v1.0 (Take On Helicopters) This is my first addon for Take on Helicopters. I released it for ArmA 2 last week and now its ready for Take on Helicopters. It has working marker lights at night time :) When spawning a helicopter, you can either place it down. Sometimes sits on top or you might have to use setpos. If you do just type this in the helicopters init line: this setPos [getPos this select 0, getPos this select 1, 0]; It can be found under 'Empty' > 'Objects' > '(H) Offshore Landing Platform' Thanks to the following: Beton for help with keeping it vertical offshore. Im happy with how this has turned out, shes looking good and is finally ready for what ever you all may throw at her :) Many people have given help to this Chinook and i think you will all agree with me when i say that it has all payed off! So a huge thanks them! & Also to yurapertov, BlackMamb, VXR, Astast & Norrin, soldier2390. Without them this Chinook wouldn't be as great as it is today! Without a doubt! Also thanks to Smiley_Nick for allowing me to use his unreleased model of his RAF_Chin47 addon to transform it into this MH-47E. Last but not least, thanks to everyone on the Bohemia Interactive Forums for the amount of support you have given me & everyone else who was involved. It's been great! Hover at height of below 10 and a 'Deploy Ropes' option will appear in the action menu. Once that action has been clicked the Script will deploy the Fast Ropes and drop off your crew automatically without you doing anything at all. So sit back and keep the MH47E in a controlled hover while your crew Fast Rope. Once all your crew have been Fast Roped just press the 'Release Ropes' option in the action menu. The Ropes will then drop to the ground and you can continue flying. • Slingloading Instructions • To use the Sling Loading on the MH47E. Just Hover above any BIS RHIB's, any BIS HMWVV's, an M119 or any BIS Ammo Box's. There is an 'Extend Cargo Ropes' option in the action menu when hovered, once pressed the Ropes will deploy below the belly of the MH47E. Line the ropes up with the object you want to Sling and another option will appear in the action menu saying 'Attach Cargo'. Once clicked it will Sling your cargo and you can continue flying where you want to drop the slung cargo. Beware, flying too low will automatically de-attach your cargo, so be careful. Once above the desired drop location put the MH47E in an hover and at a height of below 20 there will be an 'De-attach Cargo' option in the action menu. This will de-attach your cargo on the desired location below the chopper. Version 1.3 Changelog Fixed: Altitude Reading '0', Therefor Should Be AI Friendly. 4. Engineers Toolbox Version 1.1 Made by konyo Just a little addon ive made myself. I got the idea from a mission ive made where a player is using the repairing animation. So i thought to myself why not make a Engineers Toolbox to give it a more realistic feel. So heres what ive come up with. Update 1.1 Fixed: ArmA2.rpt file showed bad texture of 'chestback.paa'. Fixed: Not showing textures, due to bad pathway. New: Added a Shadow LOD. (Hopefully there will be no bugs, but just incase) You can submit any bugs you’ve found in 1.1 by using my Bugtracker. Which can be found here Armaholic.com Mirror - Download (v1.1) ArmA2Base.de Mirror - Download (v1.1) .
  5. Sure, in the Chinook's init field, put the following "this animate["Ani_Ramp",1];", if its not that one then its "this animate["Ani_Ramp",0];". Give them both a try, pretty sure it's the first one ^_^ Should just be under the 'Wrecks' section. Where you'd find all the other wreck models that come standard with ArmA3.
  6. Unfortunately not, just one of those things no one seems to understand how to set it up correctly. Can't see it happening in the near future I'm afraid.
  7. Sure, I take it that it's an author credit add on for the para jumps? I've not seen it. If you provide a link I'll look into getting it compatible.
  8. I understand your point, but however not forgetting this game is set in the near future, so realistically the engines and airframe would of been upgraded so therefor it's able to lift heavier items... Also for game purposes :D
  9. Having a problem with my binpbo tool. I've recently installed Windows 10. So figured this could be the problem? Anyway i'm trying to binarize my Chinook and I'm getting this error? No idea why, tried with different models and I'm still getting the same result. I've also had to reset all my binpbo options too as there were all default upon installing Windows 10. Anyone able to help me out, thanks :)
  10. Aha yup, I need to sit down and uninstall all the old modelling tools aha! :p
  11. v1.5 released, contains improvements & fixes. Also I've taken some steps to try and fix the 'Rotor Break Bug'. These changes are on the 'Hardcore' variant only! Let me know your feedback :) Check my facebook page for the download link. https://www.facebook.com/konyo.webs Version 1.5 Changelog Fixed: Firing from vehicles field of view. Fixed: Raised the slingload mass, can now lift Hunter or Boats. Added: Items to Chinook's inventory. Changed: RAF CH-47E HC.3 model improvments. Changed: Lowered 'Armour' value. *Progress: - Rotor break bug, (Hardcore Variant Only) - feedback needed - thank you.
  12. Thanks, that's done it. Along with a restart seems to be working fine for now
  13. Having a problem with the Slingloading Feature, my Helicopter can't slingload a Hunter even though it's SlingloadMaxMass is set to 99999; It attaches just it doesn't have enough power to lift it, instead it ends up pulling the helicopter down. What have I missed that's not allowing it to work? Thanks, konyo
  14. Thanks for informing me of the still active 'Rotor Break' bug. Will try and work up a permanent fix and hopefully fix it once and for all! :bounce3:
  15. v1.4 released, contains a few improvements & fixes the 'Rotor Break Bug'. Check my facebook page for the download link. https://www.facebook.com/konyo.webs Version 1.4 Changelog Fixed: Rotor Break Bug. Improved: Player GetOut Positions. Changed: Chinook now starts with 'Raised Ramp'.
  16. Already in progress  On another note, is anyone here available to talk about the issue with the Chinook & it's rotor breaking issue? Do you have friends you play online with that you found this issue for yourself & can you easily recreate this issue with them? The reasons I'm asking is because I think I've fixed the issue but cant test for myself. So if anyone knows about this issue and how to recreate it for yourself then i'll send you a (hopefully) fixed version that you can try with your team and give me feedback with it please? Thanks :)
  17. Can you please confirm what variant of Chinook it bugs on? Is it the 'Hardcore' version only or all of them?
  18. v1.3 Released! Check the first post for more info & download link. Feature's the RAF CH-47E HC.3.
  19. Sounds like your using the 'Hardcore' variant. Try using the normal 'MH-47E' or the 'MH-47E - Fixed Ramp'.
  20. Hello everyone! :D Sorry about my in-activity recently.. I've been away from the ArmA community and modding for a little time now, but I'm returning to finish my work on the MH-47E Chinook for ArmA3 ;) I'm going to cut straight to the point here with the Chinook and it's progress. As it stands right now the Chinook currently has Firing From Vehicles setup on both 'Ramp Positions' on the 'Fixed Ramp' version only. There's no point in adding them to any other version of the Chinook other than the 'Fixed Ramp' version as you wont get a clear shot out the back of the Chinook. Plus you might accidently shoot one of your team players from down the front of the Chinook & no one want's that to happen :p The Chinook also has RotorLib setup.... but don't get too excited because it's not setup properly, it's very sluggish and slow & generally doesn't fly like a Chinook should do :( Therefore it needs a lot of work. If anyone out there knows how to edit the RotorLib setup file and you fancy lending me a hand then please get in contact with me. Thank you :) I'm also planning a BAF version, I have been for a little while now as most of you all know. I'm just awaiting the textures and then it will be release to you all. Hopefully that should be too long. Hopefully  That's pretty much the plan of action at the moment, once those above issue's have been smoothed out I will release another stable update  Also I've created a Facebook Page. Please give me a 'Like' as I'll be posting new updates there more regularly. https://www.facebook.com/konyo.webs Regards, konyo :D ---------------- Hmm interesting.. I will have to check-up on this, although I could never get the "Bug" to work for myself  If anyone else can also confirm it has been fixed, that would be great! Thank you. Sure, will add this upon the next update :D
  21. Guys, the above issue is hard to fix at the moment because I physically cant re-create what's happening in video's above. I'm guessing its when using the 'Hardcore' version only? Does this breaking bug only take effect when playing in multiplayer only? Or in singleplayer too? I tried re-creating it using the 'Advanced Flight Model' with AI in the chopper keeping it at idle & myself walking around inside to try and break it. From the video, it looks like it only breaks when you walk around the rear of the helicopter (near the engines). I got a rough idea what's causing it but without re-creating it myself I cant attempt to fix it.
  22. Version 1.2.2 is released. Check the first post for the download link :) Version 1.2.2 Changelog Added: Ability to Slingload Using BIS's New Feature. (Heli DLC).
  23. How can I make my AddOn compatiable with Zeus? Apparently it's not showing up in the Zeus menu? & I've been told It's as simple as defining it into the config? But I've searched the forums and Google but couldn't find my answer? If anyone could shed some light on this for me and maybe other people searching for the same answer :) Thanks, konyo
