    Multiplayer Balancing - Will Arma3's MP be balanced?

    I'm sure the game will have the usual realistic guns stats. but when you talk about balancing do you mean the both sides have similar equipment capabilities. because there is always going to be a difference in what the countries have and what is provided in game. i.e no logistical support but infantry some CAS and Artillery. but it's daft to give both side AH 64's just to balance the sides though the new opfor heli and American Comanche that'll never see combat action are a strange choice.

    seems quite cool how they've implemented the firing range however being able to do this in MP with all weapons would be cool. (so far I don't see an option to do this)

Hi there, Problem with arma 2 co 1.59 fully patched crashing everytime I join a mulitplayer game. sometimes the problem happeneds after 1 min sometimes I can fly around for 10mins but never happened on my old XP machine. Tried beta patch and disabling my overclock, also diabled vsync and xp mode in command line.     Hey Jaynus, I'm having the error where the error meassage "JayArma2lib failed to load: incompatable version of arma or unable to check version" I'm using win xp, Arma2oa is 1.59 stable Acre is 1.2.7.333 Armalib is 1.4.19 I'm sure it installed correct as I've done this many times with same instructions, the TS3 update. so I'm not sure what this means. I've even installed the MS Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).

    Great Work Stalker the units look really good. I'd say your hard work will inspire some other guys and I'm sure you'll see some clans using them in missions. I have to say that I'm a little woried for the british lads in Germany and the Falklands if they stand next to a abush and don't disapear with this very light pattern. I have noticed in game that the dpm can make my comrades disapear in foliage and darker lighting if they don't move (Dualas jungle as well as Chernarus). I personaly would still love to see the separate temperate and desert units, But that's just me. Really mate great job on this addon. P.S if you have para helmets my guys would kiss you.

    Are the muzzle velocities set @ 940m/s for l85a2 and 950m/s for L86a2? If not what's the name for the guns so I can add them to the muzzle velocity mod. Bearing in mind I'm new to playing around with scripting things.

    Actualy it's for a clan I'm in. We need something better than domination as it's getting to the point it's not dynamic and it's a slog when all the AI aim't at us. I believe warfare has the potential to give us more tactical game play and ppl mostly hate the money system and the large choice of weapons (it's too tempting). Also large groups of AI support on either side, it's ok for AA and base defence but we a light infantry clan. So want a changing situation and human players too, plus the AI might just give us a fight.

    If what I ask has already been answered please just paste or redirect me cos I don't want to read through 11 pages. I would like to know if warfare can be setup so the I can place specific player squads with restricted load outs. e.g a grenadier gets to choose rifles with ugl and not sniper rifles. Also that the players don't get money. I'm looking to use this for realistic squad tactical combat so unlimited choice and money is not useful. Also how to confugure to play against the AI and to disanle AI squads or limit their number per side?
