    AI Surrender

Well, my friend lend me a copy of ARMA 2 (The Friend From UK) and during single player campaign some of the enemies surrendered. I didn't knew what to do so i simply shot them. Is there a more peaceful way of dealing with them, or the only solution is a bullet to the brain?
  3. As in the Title, I'd like to know what determines the language of the game. Is it the CD-Key or copy of the game you've got? I got the Polish edition, but I hate the translation and thus it would be much better if I had it in English. I know of the language mods available, but they don't apply to mods and other things. If that's a CD-Key thing, I suppose I'll be forced to buy ArmA 2 Combined Ops from somewhere in the USA, since the poor Polish translation has made me stop playing ArmA, it's just so bad.

I love playing as PMC's\Mercenaries. Jagged Alliance rules.
  7. Original War 2! Christ, this news about buying Altar has made me come back to the forums.
  8. So that Sion-of-a-bitch has actually turned himself in about ripping of the ArmA series? (IE This post: http://community.codemasters.com/forum/6392021-post15.html) Those mother fuckers have absolutely no honour at all....
  9. Has anyone noticed that when you type "O F P" together it shows a facepalm in place of F and P? Ha! Guess even the forums are sentient to a level where they knows CM sucks
  10. Huh, since when Codemasters has made Worms?
  11. Exactly. And CM promoted it as "pre-release gameplay footage" my ass...
  12. 100% Agree. About that banned post: I remember how CM once showed a "gameplay" where there as epic graphics, Crysis quality like, super good looking fog etc. So it was about scouting an area. The guy took binoculars and zoomed about 1km to see a village, so he called a bomb run on it. Of course, the game didn't even in one piece resembled that "gameplay" of theirs, and CM as always try's to fool people into some crazy shit. Like the western all-healing Snake Oil and shit :((((
  13. Hell, Codecopiers have made a new version of a facepalm: the palmface, AKA mlapecaf
  14. They didn't had. They don't. They won't have. The only thing they have is the right to the Operation Flashpoint name and their self-assumed right of n00bishly copying all of the BIS ideas, solutions, and even the fucking war themes.
  15. While I might (correctly) accuse CM of ArmA 2 copycatting, they also plan (yes, plan, because they already bullshitted everyone enough with their DR and it's super graphic mightiness and driving model, among other things) to copy other things BIS has missed, like the MW 2 Weapon Attachment Selection (I shall copyright it as WAS, he he)
  16. Don't worry, with Codemasters current game policy, if there willl be no dragons in Red River, they'll surely be in OFP 3: K&L Shanghai Riot
  17. This, or the Chinese AGAIN happily took it from the Russians and the brave US army (yes, they swapped from USMC to US Army, completely not related to ArmA 2 at all!) must get it back from their bad, bad socialist hands and bring democracy, free speech and cash for Codemasters peace in the poor occupied country.
  18. Or on the other side, HOW THE FUCK DID THE PLA GOT THERE?! Also, it's not that they're copying only from Operation Arrowhead, they also copied much things in DR from the vanilla ArmA 2. Also, isn't it a funny coincidence that Red River got announced soon after the release of the completely different and unrelated game that is OA?
  19. Greaaaat...DR was set in a standard foresty place (like ArmA 2) and the NEW ABSOLUTELY GREAT COMBAT SIMULATOR WHICH SCREEN SHOTS ARE COMPLETELY NOT RENDERED LIKE IT WAS BEFORE is set in a desert middle east theme (ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead) Well hell, they think that if they got the name of the BIS combat sim mothergame, they also have the right to badly copy everything that their ex-employees have made... Codemasters, you were complete IDIOTS letting BIS out of your leash and now you're trying to fix your FUCKING mistake by vampiring out their success by making City Interactive-like copies of various GOOD, ENTERTAINING and WELL SELLING games, thinking that some idiots will buy them thinking they can get the similar thing for a lower price. No, Codemasters, this is not how the fucking thing works...Anybody send this post to CM for me? Cause I ain't got their address. Fuck, I bet that if BIS sued Codemasters for copyrights and stuff (and it would take place in an American court) they would fucking WIN it. PS. Sorry if I fucking offended somebody, but just the ultra-original "Tajikistan" of the Red whatever is driving me MAAAAD! PS #2. Also, I think that the grand failure of the new Operation Flashpoints is the BIS anti-piracy FADE system turning on at Codemasters studios :D
  20. Question: I haven't read the whole topic (just the first and the last page) and I got interested, but it seems that going to http://www.cityliferpg.com/ site gives me some kind of errors EDIT: Got them! "Warning: require_once([path]/vault/special_class_wiki.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]\includes\init.php(331) : eval()'d code on line 1 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'D:\inetpub\vhosts\cityliferpg.com\httpdocs\f1/vault/special_class_wiki.php' (include_path='.;./includes;./pear') in D:\inetpub\vhosts\cityliferpg.com\httpdocs\f1\includes\init.php(331) : eval()'d code on line 1"
  21. Strangely, I was just watching this movie when I read your posts
  22. I just had a thought: Since you're making it to work on OA, then shouldn't yomies be NOT visible in Thermal Imaging? (They're dead and cold, after all)
  23. Well, they SHOULD be dead, otherwise they're nah yomies, homies!
