Quick guide fo those who want to try it: 1.buy ps3eye camera(can do 60hz at 640*480) its very cheap 2.install ps3eye drivers: CL-Eye-Driver-4.0.2.1017 and then plug camera in usb 3.install FaceTrackingAPI_NC-V3.2.6(you need to register at their website to be able to download) 4.install FaceTrackNoIR_Release_V130 and then v150 update (you have to overwrite update v150 into installed v130 directory, it has no installer!!!) 5.create cleye.config file and put it in facetracknoir directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Abbequerque Inc\FaceTrackNoIR) ( this will enable 50hz on ps3eye camera) 6.execute facetracknoir and in game protocol choose faketrackir (for rise of flight, cliifs of dover, BS) and in tracker source press start(now the camera will detect your face) 7.run the game you wish to play

OK i bought ps3eye,installed it yesterday and........OMG its working, smooth no problem!!!!! Thanks for this thread, i am owner of trackir4 with trackclip but now i dont need it anymore!!!! thanks again. P.S. ps3eye works on 50hz and eats 9% of my cpu (3.8GHz i7 930)

I think BIS has a huge oportunity with OA. If they do it like with first OFP that was very succesful. Release an optimized demo and get feedback from players. Then release a game with all ideas taken into account. Release a game with minimum of bugs and a decent SP(i know it´s impossible) If they would release arma 2 in version 1.05 they could sell a lot more units. my 2 cents

Well this game doesn´t look like OFP, no way. The graphics is very nice on very high but demanding. Your problem is slow computer. If you want nice graphics and without mouse lag you have two choices, minimum setting or powefull computer. Todays best choice is i720 and 5870 with ssd. Yeah i know its a lot of money to play a game for 40 bucks but it´s just like with FSX, this game is older than arma 2 but today still hard to get smooth on highest setting. With this rig you´ll get a smooth play in arma 2. Please don´t compare the graphics in DR to arma 2 it´s uncomparable. In DR you can have only max 64 units at once, in arma 2 you can have thousands, in DR you have limited area, in arma 2 you have whole map. In DR you have visibility to 2-3 miles, in arma 2 you have 10 km. Of course arma has weak spots , i see it in character models, animations, sometimes in physics and boring SP campaign, other aspects for me are perfect. just my 2 cents.

This game could be bestseller if BIS would postpone the release a few month later. Bad reviews are responsible for low acceptance by players. Only devoted fans of OFP and Arma bought the game despite the bad reviews including me. If they´d release it in state of 1.05 patch we could have a game of the year. I personally was disappointed with singleplayer but after trying MP i was totally addicted(blown). For me it is the best game of 2009. And now with ACE mod, it´s totally amazing game never seen on PC with huge battlefield and amount of units. guys in BIS are geniuses for me. P.S.:Now we can see that the battle between OF:DR and Arma 2 is won by arma. The guys in CM realized that they were not able to make something similar BIS created. It was up to their abilities. They had to limit the number of AI units to max 64, they had to limit the island to zones, no free walking etc.

Well i am happy with arma 2 now. I like the graphics a lot and i like the way copters and planes behave. TheAI is really good and with ACE 2 its the best game ever for me. Things i wish arma 3 had is: bigger view distance better physics better and realistic soldier animations fun SP campaign like OFP and Eagle Wing was, I want to be part of platoon, ordinary soldier who follow the orders, i want to fly planes and copters, drive the tank, I want to be in the raging battle large maps 100x100 km P.S:true 64bit support, DX11

will we finally get interesting, fun and bugfree singleplayer campaign???

I will buy this addon, but please, PLEASE make the singleplayer campaign FUN, full of units, helicopters, tanks, air support. Make somtething that is worth the buy. I loved the original flashpoint campaign. Please think of those who are not playing multiplayer.

I liked the smaller missions where you atack the the village, there is a helicopter support and the f-35 is flying over your head. I would like to attack the conwoy, to trap the mines on the road, i want to call for artilerry to bomb the base to get rid of heavy armored units. I didn´t like the invisible snipers, wtf. Itś not open world when you have to follow the predetermined way of completing mission. I preffer shorter mission of infiltrating or attacking the villages with all the blasts and helicopters flying over my head. Where are the tank battles? Where is ka-50 in the missions. I want to have at least one mission flying UH-1z or f-35. I want to be extracted with helicopter. Where is the parachute drop from c-130? Want more of osprey. How the f.ck can someone f..k it up so much? There are limitless options , simply i bought this game to have fun. I don´t have a time and skill to build these missions myself.

Ok , then it´s a product called "Do it yourself!" Yes on line is great, but not everyone has so much time to corelate with your free time to play on line. I preffer single.

I finished the arma 2 campaign and i must say that i am dissapointed with how short it is. I remember when i was playing original OFP i was having really good time and fun playing singleplayer campaign. Good missions in arma are the first 4 missions. Then it´s really repetitive and boring. LAck of air combat missions, lack of tank battles. No use of air support and artillery support (only in manhattan mission). Shortness of campaign is really disgusting comparing to OFP. Why the hell did they wasted such potential and possibilities in this game??? I really don´t know, if they were able to crate fun and entertaining campaign in OFP why didn´t they do it in arma? They should hire those who did the OFP campaign back. I hope they will release a mission pack or datadisc with better missions. Other way I like arma2 and with another patches its better and better now. SO much potential, so unused.......

Can anyone tell me how to capture lopotev. They tell me to let him alive. I had to get to the island where chdks house is with lopotev but i cant capture him he is always shootin at me. I killed his guards. When i shoot him, they tell me that russians will not belive they bombed the moscow. How to capture him???

Thank for reply xenios, the more frustrated i am. Never ever thought i wil get respawns in this kind of game. I wanted a good campaign like in original OFP. This what i got with arma is total crap.

No, I bought original czech copy two days ago. But previously i had a german copy installed. Maybe this could be a reason. What shoul i do?

I was always defending arma II on other forums. I Finished even the manhattan mission.I had to skip other two missions with endmission cheat. Now i´m pretty tired of respawning enemy units after cleaning the whole village. Killed a lot of uaz´s and after few seconds "blop" and in front of me are 2 new uaz´s. F.CK I bought original copy of this game to supports BIS now i ´m terribly dissapointed with this game. I feel like a betatester. It was very exciting to hear all twe time how realistic this game will be. So WTF ??? Respawning of enemies is realistic?? Another come of Jesus christ??? Frustrated i am.
