Defunkt - What has the screen size got to do with anything? He has a 512 mb card and could lower the resolution.

Just wait for ofp2, only 5-6 weeks before it's due out. I was looking at the latest video on ign and it looks awesome, it looks like they have put everything into this game. They say all the sounds and weapons are accurate and they back up there claims with video footage. :yay:

If there are optimization problems with the game itself then how people are suppose to fix this on their computers? Surely if it's a problem with the game then only the developer can fix it. You guys that say you are helping others really need to make your minds up. You have ethne saying that there isn’t a problem with the game and you half saying that there is. Don't get me wrong, hats off to you for helping people, but wich one of these is it, people's computers or the game itself?

Well your logic has deserted you, I actually know a hell of alot about computers, enough to know that this game is broken. I mean, isn't this why we are getting patches for the game.. to try and fix it?

Judging by all the comments in these forums I would say that it's the game and not his pc. Why don't you ask him if it's happening in all his games before telling him to reinstall a new OS for just this one? That is if you want to diagnose a problem correctly. LOL - please don't talk to me about an abundance of spare time when it appears to me that you live in this forum.

When I pay for something I have every right to comment about it for as long as it takes to be fixed. You might be foolish enough to let someone rip you of but I don't take it lightly. Also, if you like the game so much I suggest you go and play it, instead of spending all your time in these forums pretending that you can fix it. I was trying to save the poster wasting his time here. There is nothing wrong the his computer >IT'S THE GAME!!< What is so insulting about saying a game is broken when it is????

Take everything people say here with a pinch of salt, it's not your system that's at fault here, it's the game that's the problem! You will find that hours of tweaking lead to nothing. Also, it's quite obvious that reinstalling a new OS will improve performance! I mean, what program doesn't run better after a new reinstall? And if a reinstall is really what this game needs to get it running better, then you will be reinstalling a new OS every couple of months. I gave this game away to a friend because I got that sick of it, I will never buy another Bis product again.

Given the fact that a computer slows down over a period of time for many reasons, then isn’t this windows reinstall fix a bit misleading? Of course your computer is going to run much better and faster if you reinstall windows (what computer doesn’t?) Sure you may see some improvements in this game just like you would in all the other programs you run aswell, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it was windows to blame for all your troubles. Most games don’t need such drastic action as to reinstall windows, and if this game does, then a few months down the line you will be reinstalling windows again.

You really are missing the point here aren’t you! Did all the complaints in these forums pass you by or something? I'm just surprised that you think all this is expectable, but there again you have nothing to worry about because your game is running all so smooth. You should visit my cafe one time, I could serve you rotten food all day and you would still say it was nice once I added some sauce. Wasn’t it you who was telling everyone to hold tight for this patch as if it was going to be an answer to everyone’s problems – LOL. Well patch 1.03 out and here we are telling everyone to reinstall windows – LOL. Btw, I cannot get a refund because the shop says I broke the seal or believe me I would.

Here we go again, fresh install of windows and it might just work for you. Well I was stupid enough to try just that and guess what.. It never worked. When will people realise that it's not the nvidia driver that is screwing up this game? Well maybe it's because the forum is littered with complaints about the same thing. What makes you so sure it's not software? There's is a bigger chance it is software what with all the other bugs this game has.

I didn't think the fps could get any worse, but it looks like Bis have proved me wrong lol. Now who was it that said "some performance tweaks included in the patch." Oh yes, I remember now, that would be Mr Placebo lol. I thought performance tweaks were meant to make the game run better not worse. So does anyone know when the next patch is due out lol? This is getting like that film "Groundhog Day," same crap just a different day.

Pardon my boldness but the best idea is to quit answering post if you are not going to help. The guy has a problem and he wants people's help. I also get my fps capped and there isn't anything in these forums that has fixed it for me. The game is very choppy for me in multiplayer, I get between 14 - 30 fps and it's for this reason the game is sitting on a shelf gathering dust.

I think a new thread about car examples should be made. Don't be fooled into thinking that your specs will make much difference. There are plenty of people in these forums who have very good computers specs and their game runs crap. I really wish people here would stop thinking they can work miracles for those suffering bad performance, the game is poorly optimized it's as simple as that. Most gamers already know the obvious steps to try gain more fps, but the obvious steps don't seem to apply to this game.
