I think you all judge too early. Codemasters post-release support for their game sis incredible. Look, they've recently released a new patch for DR: http://community.codemasters.com/forum/operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising-game-pc-113/452471-operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising-pc-v1-03-beta-patch-released.html The fixes will blow your mind. It re-adds mod support. Incredible stuff, the supports shown will surely convince me to buy Red River. /sarcasm

I think there should be a temporary reopening of whatever Codemasters thread there is for discussion on their latest projecy for the completely WTF news that they've released a new beta patch for Dragon Rising. http://community.codemasters.com/forum/operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising-game-pc-113/452471-operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising-pc-v1-03-beta-patch-released.html Apparently, all it does is enable modding again. May not be threadworthy, but I found it interesting.

The multiplayer's bloody irritating sometimes, in nearly all of the combat mission games I've played half the team was a bloody sniper camping a the bloody spawn point. No joke, on the mountain map with the crashed Chinook there were 5 snipers on the same bloody ridge. GRAAARGH!!! Other than that, it's pretty swell. I enjoyed the campaign as well, especially liked the way that all the characters linked together. Pretty swell all round.

The AI in the Creatures series is supposed to be very good, although I don't have much experience with them (didn't know what to do, just kept spawning cheese).
