Kudos Bohemia Interactive !! I tested patch 59928 and arma2 now runs very good on my pc (Win7 64bit, Q6600, 4Gb ram, 285Gtx) This is the first beta patch I tested and I'm very impressed :)

20 here, 21 in February :) OFP, Arma1 & arma2 have always been my favorite games due to the mission editor, I really like the freedom and fun you can have with this, I usually don't create complex missions but relatively easy ones with not many units. I have older brothers (28 & 32) and I remember several years ago with ofp we tried a mission where you needed to defend a town (don't know the name anymore), we had tank mines and other stuff at our disposal but we always failed and played this one over and over, we had lot's of fun always changing our strategy :D I miss those days :p My oldest brother now plays a lot of older games such as 'the settlers' in Dosbox ^^ And my other brother plays a lot of steam games like left 4 dead and company of heroes but they both don't have much time to play anymore because of work and kids :(:) Besides ofp and arma I'm also hooked with fsx (A2A simulations ftw ! Check out their !). Other type games like crysis, left 4 dead, etc I also play but not that much, they don't have the same effect on me as arma and fsx =)

Arma2 is immense and I think some people (@whiners) just don't see the beauty of this amazing game, campaign is one thing but in arma it's just one feature of the many this game has to offer. I don't post much in the forums but I occasionally read some topics and I just want to let the developers know I support them 100% ! Looking forward for this expansion ;)

A) Paintball Mod I think a paintball mod would be nice :p I sometimes go paintballing myself, it's very fun and needs teamwork if you want to win :) This could be fun for multiplayer, for example : 2 teams start on the opposite side somewhere on a small map with in the middle a medium sized round fortress. Then they need to fight several rounds : 1) Team vs Team 2) Defend the fortress (one team starts in the fortress) 3) Defend the president (both teams have a president and need to get to the other team's starting point) 4) Deathmatch Ow .. and as we play paintball, if someone gets hurt he needs to put his arms in the air and walk to the start point of his team and wait a minute or even wait the entire round until next round starts. (I think this animation is possible in arma -> The surrender animation for example could be used) And the overall score makes the winning team :) B) Hunter mod I recently played The hunter (it's a free game and very nice !!) and it would be so much fun if we could have some hunting rifles and especially extra animals to hunt at in arma :D Anybody ever played the game carnivores ? It's a hunting game where you hunt dinosaurs ... can you imagine a T-rex in arma2 :D It would be so much fun !!!!!!!! C) Aliens mod Title says it all, Aliens like in the alien films or something like . That would also be so much fun because they move very quick so you have to aim fast and shoot good. And maybe a possible addon to make a sentry gun or something to help defend ^^ --- I think the above suggested mods are possible to make and I would try to do it all myself, I currently have lot's of time but my knowledge of arma is very very limited :-( ps: Sorry for my bad english ^^

Hi guys, Can you tell me how I can call support for an ambulance (or a fuel, rearm truck) ? I think it's quite simple to do this but i'm still a noob @ editing :p Here's a situation as my English is not so good. @ The airport We accidentally shot the civilian doctor ..... We need an ambulance asap !! So, I take my radio and call for medical assistance (5 - 1 - 2) Some kind of error pops up :confused: ? Sadly, no medical assistance arrived and the doctor died due severe injuries and we had to hide the body somewhere in the forest :( Editing map Communication window1 (5-1) Communication window2 (5-1-2) Do I need to sync the ambulance to me or ? Oh and btw, I discovered some kind of error when i try to drag the doctor ... Drag bug ? (I'm using latest version 1.02.58134) Thanks guys ! (Arma2 is so much fun, I enjoy the editor more than the campaign :D Especially now with that Secop module, that's way cool !)
