I know some of you will say its too early to talk about it, but for the sake of talking, I want to know what you would like to see in Arma 3? Well firstly, will there be an Arma 3? If so when do you expect it to be out? What story line would you like to see? etc...

why wait? download the leaked PC copy, leaked today, enjoy the SP until you get the legit copy <link to illegal version removed>

Then why buy a digital copy? The only people I know who buy digital copies are the ones with super connections, they can download 12GB in 30min

BF fans keep banging on about Realism when you talk to them about MW2, so I wanted to know why they dont play Arma, it turned out that realism for them isnt really a big issue

This guy is got a point (Spekt0r) "So other than sheer trollage what is this all about? plus if you have followed the series since Operation Flashpoint you will know why Arma isn't a popular game. lt is much less to do with the gameplay other than the presentation / delivery of it, take OFP and dress it up with high res textures and shaders and you have ArmA2, all the same clunky control systems, weakly interacting animations and abrasive sounds are still there adding to that almost the complete lack of development of the particle effects / physics and you're left with something that seems to have rooted itself firmly in OFPs success and refuses to progress for fear of alienating the few fans it has and not gaining any in the process. If anything I would cite Arma as the only game that is too ahead of its time, other games create a basic game play and throw everything into rendering... computers are very good at rendering things, they are however very poor at simulating even the most basic of systems... I almost feel sorry for them that they are throwing so much effort into something that computers in their current state simply can't do which in turn leaves their development floating in a great idea that can at best be poorly implemented."

I dont need work experience to figure out their lack of good marketing, I am a customer, and I can tell if a certain product is well promoted and marketed Just like knowing how good IW promoted MW2

So because your videos got over 2million views, it means BI did well??..... NOT I view alot of game videos, but doesnt mean I will buy them Just look at their latest video, it was less than 10min, by a Czech TV with hardly a minute of game footage, in which case we needed a translator, their own website of OA has hardly had any new content or info, no BI twitter for latest updates on the game, and after all this you say BI are doing well? they even refuse to release the sale figures, why? I dont know all I can say is, they need a marketing team if they want to grow bigger, and lets not forget that BI's main customers are the military Institutions

BIS are a bit poor in that area (Marketing, Hype stuff) They should take advantage in getting some of the angry FP:DR fans (after codemasters latest announcement about no more DLC patches etc) by doing some extra marketing:) releasing a beta would be an excellent way:) but to answer your query, I would say that the game isnt ready yet, they still working on the campaign (according to the latest interview with the developers)

I dont think the "missing strings" are a major thing (probably some text commands missing), yes it proves the game isnt finished yet, and the footage looks to be from the campaign, they still working on it. but lets not forget that its been a month now since the recording of the footage, so hopefully the "missing strings" are fixed:D
