Yeah, maybe expanding the camp capture radius is an good idea. So AI can take camps just by standing next to it (and a few steps away maybe) and the player too if he wants too. If the player want to be more safe while taking a camp he have still the possibility to go inside the camp and duck :) Should not have any negative impact or exploit possibility on the gameplay i think but would give us the nice possibility to let AI infantry (or even AI cars, depending on radius size increase) capture camps. I know, sometimes they go inside a camp or stand at the small correct spot behind the camp and are able to take a camp but its rare. This would allow also players which play with AI infantry the possibility to take camps faster with them. Nice if you ask me. Go for it :D Yes of course but i think its not only that. Maybe the players who join servers and vote up the missions are also a factor. If there are both versions on a server v3.02.b3 and v3.02 it could possibly happen that b3 gets voted because it looks like this one is further developed as just v3.02 without any addition behind it. (unconfirmed speculation) For example yesterday evening i wanted to play Gossamer warfare and had to realise that 2 or 3 populated servers (more then 10 people) were playing v3.02.b2 and b3. And then there were 2 or 3 servers with the latest version v3.02 and were having only a few players :( What do you think about that: Increase the version number after the beta cycle like Bohemia does it with this game. They release for example the version 1.57 for OA. Then after some time they release betas for it for some time. So its 1.57-beta xxxx. Once they are happy with the result they release just the changes from the beta´s as version 1.58. Its directly 100% obvious for everyone 1.58 is newer then 1.57 or 1.57-beta xxxx. -

Gossamer ive made some observation. I see people still play old versions like v3.02.b2 and v3.02.b3 instead of the latest one v3.02. I think people are confused by the versioning. Not sure which would be the best way to fix this problem but just want to make sure to mention it here. -

My tip is to go here before playing: http://arma2.swec.se/server/list Enter goss into the mission filter. 5 populated servers at the moment. When you click on one you can also see which signatures are allowed on it (it shows you which mods are allowed on the server), how long the mission is running and which people are playing on it and for how long each of them is connected. Example Server: TV2 - 2 OA/CO Warfare #vote Allowed Signatures: bi eliassound2_2010 jsrsfa RHI TRSM VopSound wiper This signatures are the shortnames of well known sound mods. -

Confirmed here too. 15 frames difference for me with the graphical settings shown in the screenshots. AA disabled of course to have comparable scenarios. Thank you Gossamer. Enjoyed it already yesterday on the TV2 and Sauna Club 69 server. Great changes and additions. Outstanding work as always :) Things that went during my mind for this version: - settings for Artillery to cheap? (delay, spread, amount of shots fired, ...) - paratroops of Team Leader bugged? Buttons are greyed out (also on maximum Team Leader rank, was of course in com tower range) General things: - AA statics to cheap? People spam them to much everywhere - AA TOR Rapier cant be locked when engine turned off, new Mando Missiles version is enabling lock on vehicles which have used fuel already, maybe a good thing to integrate -

Iam whondering how i can enable night vision in camera mode? F5 is giving FLIR, Pressing N doesnt give night vision. This was a problem when playing Gossamer Warfare at night and wanted to kill an base structure through the camera mode (hellfire if i remember correctly). I could not see it because it was dark, in FLIR mode i could not see it because it was cold. Needed night vision there really badly :D And thank you again for this excellent game enhancing addon. Its always an overcoming to play missions online without mando missiles. Wish everyone would give it a try. But from what ive seen is that people dont read the manual and dont understand how everything works, get frustrated and disconnect before saying "crap mission, mando shit". Could you make the grey text which explains how a system works (for example when looking through a metis, grey text bottom left corner) bigger and in a different color? Maybe even a black text and a yellow background for the text so people take attention to it? Also if you enter a chopper or a plane there is a explanation for a short time when the mando huds gets activated. I think people dont pay enough attention to it and keep whondering why they cant tab things and why they cant change to hellfire or sidewinder when pressing F. -

Iam not involved in this. Just my neutral view on this. If i understood it correctly the mission is not over when the HQ gets killed. But if there is no more HF, LF or AF then the game ends when the HQ gets killed too. I see here two major mistakes made by both parties. Yours rubber is this unprecise rule: Rubber you missed to explain that structures are HF, LF, AF and HQ. The game was being played, it wasnt over yet but it seems Hotshots did loose HF, LF and the AF. Then you found the HQ, killed it, game over. Makes sense, its just the rule that is not explaining it and what is now the source of this big eDrama. For people which dont know the mission this would be very frustrating then when having the double score and more towns and loosing then because of this unprecise enough rule / mission standard. Understandable but this brings us to the mistake of Hotshots. It was definetly that you did not train for this tournament did not make yourself familiar with the mission. Its differs much from Warfare BE and Warfare BE ZGM. And there is also Mando Missiles being used which among other things balances the inbalance of Air units very good. The resulting eDrama here, bashing, flaming, ePenis comparison is a shame for both parties. Under normal circumstances i would say you guys rematch the game and update the rule please. But after this eDrama here now it could be pretty hard for both parties to come again to one table, to discuss and to rematch. Is it? This hate is really not needed guys. Please solve the problem. -
Yeah thats right. But when using Mando Missiles inside of the mission its nice. See Gossamer´s Warfare which have Mando Missiles integrated. The Vanilla Inbalance between Air and Ground is pretty much well handled. Can warmly recommend it.

Bug: Paradropped Repair Truck is locked and cant get unlocked by the commander. No unlock option in the middle mouse menu. -

Beagle i had the same "problem" yesterday in Warfare when given them a move order. But if set them to Danger mode manually they seems to do it the old way, taking care, fighting. -
Yeah Mando Missiles is really awesome. Love it too. Changes the gameplay very good. Mando even made this awesome Script Suite that can be integrated into the mission so people dont have to have the mod on their computer. But the missions which use it can be counted with five fingers. You Gossamer in your Gossamer Warfare, some Domination mission i saw that is played from times to times on some server and which mission else? Its a shame :(

Tested with b76973, used shortcut from beta patch to start the game (unmodified, no mods, etc. to exclude other error source). Problem still there. Another test, showing graphic settings now also: Init (with graphic settings on screen now) Weapon scoped, FPS drop for 18 seconds (with 20 - 30 frames) Weapon still scoped, normal FPS after 18 seconds -

Please give us a sub-menu for selecting specific effects or if you dont have time for that make them changeable by config. ;) I cant imagine someone actually does like the full screen blur that is there on every setting higher then low. :( -

Right. Got an idea. What about to have the gunner stay in the vehicle if the gun is not damaged and only the other crew of the vehicle gets out if the tires get shot? Maybe a good feature request. What you guys think?

Its not a harddrive issue i think. Iam having the same problem while running the game and the operating system from the SSD. What did let you think its a harddrive issue nettrucker? Win7 64bit, E8200@3,7 Ghz, HD4850 512 MB, 4GB Ram, Intel X25 SSD
