Well the strange thing is i cant see it in visitor, but i can inbulldozer. I cant select it in both. So this is really an anoying point,god thx it is just a map to learn .....and no real project.

I already updated it with a few 100 ojects more, so if ya interested,i can upload the updated gallery . Nevertheless i must clearly state, that some object definition were wrong grabbed by the script.I do not know how many, i would suppose @ 2-5%. This is refering to the class hint on the right top of the object. Some are just careless mistakes others are due the point i couldnt trigger them. But well 2-5% was acceptable for my use... -

I ve again problems with the terminator of asf3. As already posted, the terminator doesnt alwys show up. Right now,ive set one, must have saved my terrain, and right now i cant revert or delete that terminator. Is there any technique , i can delete a terminator? I cant select it in Visitor, as it is not present there, but in Bulldozer. As the terminator is next to another roadpart, i cant cover it. Any hints or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I guess this is a sensitive topic since the last BAF. I was already very annoyed about the fact, i cant have a look into the scripting techniques the devs used to create their missions. The community learned since OFP by depbo`ing the missions to develop own scripts an ideas. Since BAF this feature is just locked. So my question is ,why to keep the campaigns and misisons locked? I can understand that BIS want to keep the addons of any DLC locked. But the campaign and missions are free4all inPMC, so woulnd it be possible to open it to the public, so we can learn form it?

I am glad you are the same opinion as me. Imagine where the Com would be or even ArmA/OFP would be if we woldnt have had the chance to depbo the stuff.

Sorry m8, no clue what happens there. But i got another issue with the new Bulldozer via arma2OA.exe In certain angles the square shows black or grey like on this screesnshots. Or better said, i can see through the square only in certain angles. Very annoying. Everything worked fine with arma2 vanilla. Oh my goodness what a messy mix...:D:eek: My ArmA2 installation (vanilla) just installs a Roads2 folder... The roads & roads2 comes with the P: drive installation with the content i posted above. Oh dear....what now....?

For not messing things up now: When i install the p:/ drive via Bi-Tools the folder i get p:/Ca/Roads with .p3d files only. p:/Ca/Roads2 with .p3d files only. When i extract the only roads folder inside my ArmA2 installation folder wich is Arma2/Addons/Roads2 i receive .p3d files config.cpp bridge folder dam folder Data folder Next step: I copy from the folder Arma2/Addons/Roads2 config.cpp bridge folder dam folder Data folder to p:/Ca/Roads2 That result in my p:/ca folder in a roads folder with p3d without any config.cpp a roads2 folder with config.cpp; bridge folder; dam folder; Data folder Where do u get the config.cpp inside your p:/Ca/Roads folder?

Well it is annoying me each time again,when i wanted to research sth inside the latest BIS missions/Campaigns. The missions and Campaigns are free for all now,so they could maybe provide a download link to opened versions.

Well i am a supporter of BIS since OFP 1.02 but imho this was the first money i shouldnt have spend - sry. As already a lot of people mentioned, the units are at same quality or even worse than Comm. made ones. The campaign seems to be cool so far, atmospheric as EW,...but i neednt pay for it, and the next point, which is much more annoying to me, i cant learn anything of it, like scripting or editing, what i did from EW. I am sorry to assume, but i guess the new terrain was just an alibi content. I am not very deep in terrain making, but i am sure this terrain didn´t take too long to develop. I expect sth like UTES to be honest. I was yesterday asked by my folks if to buy or not, and i said they should save the money, sorry. Plz take your time for an upcoming DLC and create a big one like OA, and sell it like OA imho. BAF was fine , PMC is well .... , both nothing you really need or bring you forward.OA brought us all forward. I love the improvements, but fixxing existing bugs should have more priority. Beside that, plz think about your politics of locking your campaigns....this is the part, the community can learn from and develop new and own ideas. So far the last DLC i bought. Sorry for my first negative post towards BIS. (i already slept 24h before posting this) -
Is it correct that the "roads" folder has no config, and so no config canbe copied over intomy terrain folder? Another problem occured in visitor when i create an asf3_xxx road, the terminator doesnt show up in visitor, all other do ...at least those i ve tested/used so far. Is it a bug or ...whatami doin wrong here .... once again...?

Well since ichanged to arma2OA.exe it takes 1-2 mins to load the objects. Before it took me 10 sec. What cpu and ram do u have,as i suppose this process is cpu hungry. Nevertheless 30min sounds way too long. -
Oh man, i had today a hysterektomie at work... i tell ya that was more easy to learn than getting visitor and stuff runing properly... Thx. Working now!

But in none of them are textures, which was my actual problem. So how do i have to go on to getthe roads properly working?

I now treid to get into the roads in visitor again...but that led me to my initila problem, tht made me posting this thread .... I get again a texture no found error. As u can see on this image http://img228.imageshack.us/i/arma2oa2010112915215377.jpg When i now check my folders,things are a bit weird imho. In my P folder i ve got 2 folders called "roads" and "roads2". Th folder "roads" doesnt contain any Data folder with texture and stuff. When i have a look into my "Arma2/Addons" folder there isnt any folder called just "roads" but "roads2". http://img812.imageshack.us/i/roads0.jpg Have i deleted probably the "roads.pbo" from my Addons folder, as this unpboed "roads"folder must have its origin?! I can of course add all roads from "roads" and "roads2" folder to visitor, as i have them unpboed,but the "roads" p3d without textures. That of course , is the reason for my "texture not found error". The roads from "roads2" folder are working as they should in bulldozer. Very strange. So, do u have 2 folders in your ArmA2/addons folder called "roads" and "roads2"?

Hi friends, i finally took all my courage and changed to arma2Oa.exe for Bulldozer. You cant imagine how scared i was messing sth up, after i stand a real struggle to install & configure V3 for my desire. However, just if someone is too lazy here are the default keys for Bulldozer@arma2OA. Default Bulldozer Keys ArmAOa2.exe Keys Of course they can be changed in the game or your "user.arma2OA.profile" itself. My problems i had by installing arma2OA.exe for bulldozer, was the depbo, as it again created a root folder in the root folder means p:/bin/bin/ ..... So if u get shader errors etc, check your folders if the depboing went correct. Well, my 2 pennies .....thx for the hint for the new Bulldozer keys! -

No i get a texture not found (or sth) when starting bulldozer. I´ll check it today again, as i was bothered with other basic things in visitor. In visitor i can just see the template, means not a texture on the road, i guess that is normal. Well, to not being misunderstood i ll post a screenshot, later today. Thx for input.:)

Hi , is it possible to get the relative script of an p3d inside the addon via script? There are several scripts out there, that call position,name,ammo etc. So it would be great if there would be also a way to figure out the path, and would make working in visitor a bit easier.

Is there anywhere a list with images or a gallery that contains all objects ? The list at armatechsquad is great but too small,the images in WTools are also great but not complete. Sohas anyone an updated list? -
Hi folks, i have a siomilar problem so i just hijack this thread. I created a mask_lco.png @ 8bit/no interlace. Three layers. Using blue,white and black colour. Everything works fine with blue and black colour but at the terrain covered with white igot this artefacts...means almost black. In bulldozer it looks more like z-bufffering.Means it looks like flickering between 2 layers. layers.cfg I am using the bis legend.... Edit: well there must have been sth wrong with the corresponding texture or its rvmat. I substituted it for test sake, and it worked again.

Hey thx m8. Setting roads is really time consuming ... an implementation into WorldTools would be great....:rolleyes: :) Nevertheless i amstill wondering wh the road textures inside bulldozer of my little road pieces arent loaded. In my working drive means P:\CA\Roads2\Data all textures are imported, as also the configs got copied to my project dir .... Is it a bug or am i the bug here?
