The first question gives a hint about how yes and no answers are to be interpreted (as 0 and 1)...

The plus in a circle is also used for XOR
-
Considering that it might be another logic operation, the 'v' is used as 'OR' in logical polynomials
-
That is actually, the point, isn't it ? Wouldn't be the first time a forum moderator dropped hints to the next "hack" thing.

Check this

Is that supposed to be a hint ? URL maybe ? Or do I miss the point completely ?

Since no solid information has been released at all, what else do you expect except speculation ? I mean, there is no telling what BIS will release, it might be a washing machine simulator for all we know.

It was an example, meant to illustrate that it is not necessary a free to play but something else... thanks for calling it bollocks, much appreciate

Neither Vlad nor Reynolds are guerrillas.

That's hardly possible given the speed this thread grows...

Are those years ? Edit: Oh come on, I'm not that old that everyone always beats me :D

BIELSKI might refer to the Bielski partisans Edit: Damn, beat me to it :D

It's not an encryption program, it's a mail server

Seconded. At least I'd like to know if it's an expansion, ArmA 3, or at least something related to ArmA...
-
Yes, and there was an arma2free.exe, IIRC. I bet ArmA 3 will be announced at E3, and arma2free.exe is an expansion... ArmA 2: Freedom ArmA 2: Free Europe I would bet it's something like that :p ---------- Post added at 07:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:15 PM ---------- I don't think there will ever be a year without a new CoD game, anyway :D

What's the problem

Well, we are pretty sure that BIS is hinting at a new product. When you announce a new product, you give a list of features, story, any information that you want your customers to know. The whole hacker scheme is giving out these hints in small games. So why not technical aspects, too ? Besides, we know a lot about the story already, so I wouldn't think that turning to technical information is inherently wrong at this point. Of course, I might be totally wrong, too :bounce3:

HA! I GOT IT!

Maybe it's single frames in an ASCII-Art animation ?

Here's mine

Regarding the YouTube videos: What's with the number block at the bottom of the image then ? Can't be a time stamp since there's no 0:67 or 0:95... or maybe there's something that many seconds into the video (67 seconds, 96 seconds, 109 seconds) ?

BI Developer's Blog: An interesting new entry
Varanon replied to Undeceived's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Read my post as well I said that I did read that statement. But if you read my post again, you would notice that I said that it will shift the focus away from Arma, NO MATTER WHAT. Yes, there will be patches, yes, it won't die, but it won't be the focus anymore. How big are the chances of getting a new expansion with the workload of a game added that's gonna be released later this year ? Don't expect any Arma 2 expansion or DLC this year still. And to NoRailgunner: thanks for calling everyone that's disappointed a "crybaby" and childish. It's incredibly mature to call people names that have a different opinion than you. -

Meh. Pretty disappointed. That's what you get when your getting your hopes too high for new Arma 2 content. Why was it announced on the Arma 2 Facebook page and not on the BIS page ? I just hope that "Taking on a sharper focus" doesn't mean that the focus will move away from Arma now. Sorry, BIS, and I know I will now get some flak for writing this, but this kind of marketing wasn't the best idea, since by posting breadcrumps ONLY on the Arma 2 page on Facebook, you made it look like it's Arma 2 related. That HAD to lead to disappointment. In fact, I would be less disappointed if it were an April's Fool joke, but as it is now, it looks like there won't be much in terms of Arma 2 content in the future. I did read the other post where BIS basically said it would still update Arma 2, but I'm pretty sure that taking on (no pun intended) another big project WILL reduce the efforts spent on Arma. I just hope that the tenth anniversary of Operation Flashpoint won't be the start of the series funeral.
