Ok, so I had this problem, and figured out a fix... (Steam Version) TrackIR worked perfectly in it's own app, but when I was in-game, it didn't respond... I read a lot of responses saying that you should launch the TrackIr/Game in Admin mode... Did that to no avail... Then I realized maybe the problem was that I was only launching Arma 2 in Admin, from the desktop short cut. The fix I found was to launch Steam in Admin mode as well, from the get-go. Basically you need to launch TrackIR in Admin. Then launch Steam in Admin. Then launch the game in Admin- but not sure if the last part is necessary at this point. You may need to toggle the controller Enable button in the Arma 2 settings... Sometimes hitting Default kicked TrackIr into gear. This basically sets TrackIr back to its default settings, at which point you can Alt Tab back to TrackIr, and change the profile back to your liking, and switch back into Arma 2, where everything should be Kosher. Hope this helps some people.

I dl'd the German version, but I'd like you new players to respond... I started playing the campaign, and my guys got smoked before I even saw a single baddie. This happened a lot. I just went straight to MP and the editor after that. I couldn't run around saving my team within the first 5 minutes every time. I was playing on the second-to-highest difficulty... But still, the team should be able to hold their own, right?

Are the mines for armor, infantry, or both?

What time-zone are you in? I'm PST. I'd like to play once you get things going.

I got nerdy and navigated the German site, and in game menus... Yikes. I'd really like to find some US players/servers, as well.

Hey there! I have been lurking on this board for a while, so I feel up-to-date with everything Arma2, for the most part. I am at work at the moment, but I believe that I am on the latest version? 1.5? 32 players sounds great! I've only played with groups of a dozen, or so. I'm also looking to primarily play team games against other humans, as opposed to AI. Thanks for your response!

Ok, fellas. I just spent way too much on a new rig, for Arma2, and I'm trying to get into some Arma1 games, but am new to the community. Maybe it's because I'm in Los Angeles, and it was during the week, but I am having trouble finding any large games... Most of the servers have only a handful of players. Are most big games invite only? Clan games? Weekend only? I would love any help in finding bigger games. Can't wait! Thanks! :bounce3:
