I admit that SL was ruined by the kids who just wanted to shoot cops but you must remember - the OCCASIONAL shootout can be very fun. I remember an instance in CL1 where I arrested a guy and 2 other cops showed up at the prison because it was a slow night. That didn't last long! Turns out the guy we arrested had 4 or 5 pals that had pistols, a sniper rifle, and a couple of assault rifles. For an hour/hour and a half we turned that prison into the Alamo. We lost 2 men but managed to get some help when 2 other officers came up in a SWAT humvee, broke through the gate, and jumped out and ran into the building. I was the last officer left and I'm slightly ashamed to admit this but I had to shoot our prisoner right before his friends stormed the building. I would love to see business and political options for civs but please leave the option for "gangs" open. Just make it where the civs may have to play for a day or two (Real Time) to get the cash to get their weapons. That way we can have shootouts and car chases every now and then but it's hard enough where the smacktards will probably give up before they acquire weapons. -

Dale Brown's novels come to mind. Plant a rotary launcher in this puppy and have 2 Sidewinders for defense and whatever offensive missiles you want and your set. -
It appears this is what is in store for us. Next Friday: The crew finds a device that may hold the promise of getting them home. Lt. Scott and Camille visit their loved ones using the communication stones. A week later: Colonel Young cedes command of the ship after he is implicated in the murder of a crew member. (3 Episodes I know nothing about) 4 weeks after that: The episode focuses on Rush, who risks his life in an experiment involving the ship's computer, and flashes back to the time when he was recruited into the Stargate Program. His now dead wife, Gloria Rush, will appear in these flashbacks, as will Michael Shanks as Daniel Jackson. This episode was originally entitled "Lucid". A week after "Lucid" aka "Human": Greer is trapped in some rubble on a planet and left for dead, and the ordeal brings back memories of his abusive father and loving mother

I know that most people in the "Realism Unit" community would love to be able to bring the bodies of their fallen comrades back to base or back home for a proper burial. The ability to load your dead into a truck or APC or ambulance would be awesome. -

I think that making a stickied "Does this addon exist?" thread would do wonders for newcomers and would minimize the amount of people posting threads asking if somebody has made X addon. -

I said he didn't do a public release... I don't know if he made it for somebody else or if he ported it from OFP or something but this was a project for him and a couple of friends. Meaning I doubt his version ever will release. I was simply trying to show you that that particular vehicle could be done. I'll have to ask him but maybe he had a way to get the vehicles to stick to the trailer in ArmA 1. (Pre Attach-to) -

I know a guy who made/ported that exact vehicle for ArmA 1. He did not do a public release though. -

Now we need a gate, a P90, a F-302, a Death Glider, a BC-303, The Characters of SG-1 and Hammond (Don S. Davis - May he Rest In Peace) some Jaffa with a Goa'uld leader, and of course a working gate/teleport system. -
