THanks Cultivator but I give up on this. When Im trying to do like you said i got this before the mission starts. Script\train\function.sqf not found I tried everything but still I cant make the train to work. Well at least i tried :)

Hello very nice addon , but I cant make the train to move:butbut:. How can I do it? I have put this as mod folder @gactrain and put in all files including mission.sqf etc. Sorry but Im not good at this :)

I hope that the new patch will further optimize the game so we can gain some more FPS. I have a good rig but still sometimes during multiple explosions I go down to 19 FPS and its lagging alot.

I use Nvidias 196.21 drivers. Im not sure they are the best but still there is a jungle out there and I m not sure what to choose :confused:.

Hello I have my new computer in place and I installed ARMA 2. AMD Phenom II 965 3.4 ghz Nvidia GTX 275 896 Core edition 4 gb RAM DDR 3 I turned V-synd oFF and i play mostly high normal (AA off) and i get between 90 fps and minimum 24 . My view distance are at 2000 m. Is this common or is anything wrong with the setup? I get 24 fps when there is a lot of activity around and multiple explosions. What can I do to improve ?

This my new rig : AMD Phenom II x4 965, ATI Radeon 5850 1 GB, 4 GB Ram I will buy the game on Monday. Can I run the game with good FPS on high settings?

Hello ! Soon I will buy a new computer , but still not have decided for the GPU. Im between 4890 vs HD 5850 and im reading and getting confused:confused:. I have a 19" monitor and not planning to buy a bigger one maybe at max 20". Considering i will play at 1280x1024 is the 4890 maybe the better alternative? Would this be enough for ARMA2? I dont want to throw money without taking full advantage of the power of my GPU. :confused:

Radeon 5970 might be a great card but costs a hell of money. For me personally its not an alternative, Im going for Radeon 4890 1 GB. And an AMD II X4 965 3,4 GHZ. I believe I can make 40 FPS at medium/high.

Yeah sounds good. Still im curious alot of people complain and they want me to buy GTX 275 instead, should I listen to them? Would you prefer gtx 275 or ATI 4890? Im afraid of buying a system and not to be able to play ARMA2 as I want to. Im not interested to max out but at least play high/medium :o

My budget allows my to spend maximum 800-850 euros and the reason I want to buy a new computer is so I could play ArmaII almost at highest level. What kind of processor do you guys recommend? I couldnt agree more with rabs. Graphics textured grass reminds me of OFP. Is it possible to have textured grass all over the field?

In a way im happy because I do not have to spend cash for a new computer, but sad that the game isnt good enough . I was prepared to splash for a new rig but after reading all the negative comments about the game I will at least wait 6 months to buy a computer. PS Im a big fan of Operation Flashpoint and I will get this ARMA2 even if i dont have the rig to play it.

I dont believe that you have to spend 1500$ to play ARMAII. Im about to spend 700-800$ and I think that this rig would be good enough to play with high details with no problems. Have to mention that I dont need a monitor for the new rig so no need to spend money on it.
