Yes, great, great map beginning. I agree about using the OFPL Grass for cutting down the lag, though it was barely noticible on my end. Keep up the good work mate.

Awesome. IRL, my friends father flew "Puff" the Magic Dragon in Vietnam. He was part of the 1st Air Commando Squadron. The Vietnamese called it Dragon's fire because of all of the tracers that came down. Hence the name. Also got plenty of pics to prove it. Great Idea.

Yeah, absolutely great job on the video. I showed it to a friend outside of the OFP community, and I think it actually made him want to try the game even though it's like five years old. Awesome mate.

I'm still very interested in the island, but as most of us know, or have been reprimanded for, I hate to ask how it's going incase you assume we're asking for a release date. Maybe I just jumped to a conclusion though. Anyways, great map, have been hoping that everything is still continuing on the project. Good luck.

After a small conversation with some of the other officers in our squad. I believe they would be interested in releasing the CTI because of some other requests for one. Therefore, I'll go ahead and post some of the addons that we currently have in our CTI. USMC CTI on Afghanistan: Safety_Catch's Marines V2.1 SJB Weapons Pack SEF_LAV SEF_Misc CatShit1's Afghanistan v1.2 CBT_HMMWV INQ M1A2 Prep H UH-1N Vit AW1Z Cobra JJR Rebels DMA_euro_res USMC CTI on DMA_Libya: **Same adons as above, but of course you need DMA_Libya Another side note- It still has bugs, like the beginning teams resources drain from 9000 to 850 so everyone has to pitch in and pay the Commander if they want a base constructed. -The West MHQ is still the default M2A2 Bradley -The West Repair Truck and Ammo Truck are still default BIS **This is because, we can edit them to whatever we like, but we lose the option to repair or to rearm. -The Salvager is still default BIS HMMWV, and sometimes has issues about AI not being able to salvage, but it does work if one of the active players gets in it and drives. As I said, it's got bugs, but our squad plays them on a daily basis. We use the Zeus CTI format eliminating the need for MFCTI Keep your fingers crossed that we can figure out the remaining bugs, so that we can make a nice tidy package for the community.

We started this project as a private game, because we have Safety_Catch and Jackal326 as main members of the squad and we wanted to implement their creative addons. Sgt. Evenlease started this post to inquire for help on some of our issues. Therefore, atm, to play....you must be a member. But, if/when we get the problems worked out. I believe we will release it. But, be forewarned. I'm only one member of a team. So I can only speak for myself. It's up to the others on whether they actually want to release it and when. Sorry if that's confusing.

TBH Bobcatt, we haven't been able to iron out all of the bugs in it. One time it will be ok, the next it will fowl up. Most of us are still learning the in's and out's of the workings of CTI. Plus, it's hard to rule out if some of our problems are client side, or server side, or something we've done wrong. We don't want to distribute something that looks poorly against our squad. SORRY.

Great Job on the island and it looks very promising. I say that, cuz obviously you are still working on it, and it does say BETA. But, anyhows, I'm working on a Fallujah map, I might see if you can help me with some of the road placement, seeing as how you have yours down so nice. I'm working off of satellite images, so it's just a matter of putting them down in the right place. Keep up the fantastic work.

Naturally, I can't speak for ManHunter, nor should I, but are you asking about that one type of script that makes the turrets pop off and have the awesome explosion effects, or just the type of effects like from "this setdammage 1?"

No, no need to make any. I just hadn't seen any before, and I think they add that little extra detail that makes for a more realistic setting. Thx for the reply, keep up the good work.

Hey everyone. Man, you are all going to get tired of answering my questions. But, here is another one. I am making a map of Fallujah, Iraq. Thus far, I have it to scale, and it has a HUGE amount of roadways. My question is this: Would it be better for me to make special texture tiles for each grid or just stick with the roadway objects? Which one will be less laggy. And I understand that making special texture tiles will be very time consuming, but I'm willing to do it. Some info: The Fallujah map is set on a 25 x 25 km map, and the island (city) itself is only like 6 x 5 km.

Ok, here are just two pics, one of a satellite image I'm using, and the second of the road thus far. I have outlined in blue to help show where the roadways that have been laid are. I know, this might not be the best quality, but when you drive on it, you can already imagine the street to street fighting.
