Iv'e had a couple of memorable moments in MP lately. Try different servers, there are lots of friendly players that help you and use teamwork. By far Arma 3 has been the best in multiplayer, Arma 2 isn't even close. As for your performance issues, i have a similar system and in SP I get around 40-90FPS on ultra, in MP its about 30-50FPS which isn't bad. Something must be wrong with your system.

I'd say no. Save the money and get the 4670k, which is like $100 cheaper and performs just as well. Spend the money on a good graphics card or cooler. I managed to get it at 4.2Ghz without changing anything else and runs Arma 3 without going over 55C, and thats with an air cooler. I'll see if i can push it a little more, maybe 4.4

I'm using a 1920x1200 monitor and have the view distance at around 3500

I finished building my new system two days ago and fired up the alpha. I couldn't be more impressed. I upgraded from a Q6600 2.4 GHz and geforce 8800 ultra with 4 GB RAM. My new build is Win7 64bit Pro i5 4670k OC 4.7 GHz GTX 780 16 GB 2133 MHz ram 256GB SSD I runs smoothly with all the settings on ultra, even 8x AA. Never goes below 30 fps. Flying around the island on the editor I get about 45-60 FPS.

The steam one didn't work but I replaced it with the updated one and it works perfectly, although the commad prompt doesn't auto close.

I think it has a minimum range, which I think is bugged because I was only able to fire and use the target arty when placing the MLRS in one corner of the map and aiming for the opposite corner very far away and worked, though when I aimed closer the target thing got messed up.

Does anyone know or have a solution? I'm having the same problems with my X52. Using Steam version.

Ok, so here's my problem, up until recently when I started A2, it erases all the controls I've mapped for my Saitek X52 joystick and each time I start the game I have to map them again, which is annoying... Also, when I map the controls, I noticed if I pressed next or previous (to go to the next control) it crashed my game, and it happened each time I did it. I checked the .cfg files in my Documents\ArmA II and set them to read-only, which they weren't, but still it keeps crashing. Please help.

It's hard sometimes since the UAV must be facing in the enemies direction to get a lock, but since we cant control it by ourselves, just hit TAB like crazy till it locks on something. You might wanna try playing with the waypoints a bit too.

Intel Quad Q6600 - 2.4GHz 8800 Ultra 4GB RAM Vista Ultimate 32-bit Shall this be enough? By the way, does A2 support those double GPU's? I'm considering getting a GTX295 or whatever its called.
