    HARCP not loading

    I am using the latest version of ACE and CBA, and when I try to load HARCP, it CTDs saying to include the config.hpp file even though the file is present and in the directory that it is supposed to be in.

    ASR AI Skills

    Not sure if I missed something, but only AI units in my group will arm/rearm themselves. I have tried placing weaponless groups/single units and whether they are attacked or not they will not arm themselves while men in my group do.

    Modern Nogova

    Here will be one of the biggest modding projects I've ever done. :D The entire island is being redone with new vegetation, buildings, textures, etc. There will be more gravel roads and little villages sprinkled throughout the map with some high rises in the cities. Farms and seaports will also be added. Pretty much all textures are going to be replaced. I'm working with the Mapfact Nogova as a base, replacing a lot of vegetation with Berghoff nature packs. Military bases will also be present. Ground textures and water will be redone to give it a more HQ look. In the one alpha screens you can see the new asphalt roads. They look damn fine even if I say so myself. :) All roads will be redone so they look ultra high quality. I am also hoping to release some modern Nogova police and vehicles with this but I will take it one step at a time.     How to play ofp in window 7?

    I run Win7 64 bit and I have played both OFP and CWA just fine on a 1080p monitor. Check your resolution settings and ensure that if you have a 1900x1200 monitor, that you are not running at 1920x1080 and vice versa.

    Well, I don't want to give everything away, but the hill and a large area around it has been turned into a "zone" for a large military base. I am getting rid of most of the others. As far as AGS, the refinerys were moved, and I used the buildings pack for the large city. It is located near the north-east part of the island near the coast. As far as the grass, it requires the OFPL objects pack that you can obtain from the Lechistan download(I think). If not I will upload the grass files.

    I have heard people call the island many things. I have always referred to it as Koljuyev. Some call it Kolgojev, Kolguyev, etc.

    Koljuyev is in the process of being completely redesigned. I will list a few features and add them as I go, but I will talk about release info first. You will have to download quite a lot of addons for this, but I will have more info about that later. I am still in the process of deciding what to get rid of and what to keep. New modern towns are going to be placed on various areas of the island. They will include a couple of high rises in a large town, apartment blocks in smaller towns, and little villages with pubs and farm style houses. I plan on having 5 to 6 towns in total. 1 large, 2 medium, and 3 small. I will also add a farm-ranch combo somewhere on the island. It probably wont be very big due to the limited space, but it will have some pretty nice features. As far as military bases go, I am probably going to get rid of some of them. At present, there are too many scattered about. As I said in another thread, this is going to be a vibrant modern island, not a sh*tty cold war era battleground. The ones that remain will get new barracks of different types, and will likely be placed off of any main road. I am also going to add quite a few checkpoints throughout the island, complete with guardhouses, barbed wire, hedgehogs, etc. I am also redoing the textures on the island. I have been toying with the idea of using burns's textures, but I am not a big fan of some of them, as they seem extremely bright. I also decided to go with a different grass, which means I will be getting rid of the other grass I used. It is better optimized, looks much better, and bullets can pass through it freely. The battles will still be more difficult though, as the AI and the enemy have a blocked view when they are crawling in it. You will still have to be fairly close or have a good sniper rifle to get any good shots off when the enemy is hiding. I am also going to make a mission template, with a decent amount of civs and police doing various things throughout the island. Police will be placed at checkpoints, civs will drive around and interact with other objects, and soldiers will mainly either patrol or stay on base. It will be easier to make missions, as you will be able to add or delete entities as needed.     Changing texture path

    So I want to change the path that the model gets its texture from and I've heard that the best way to do it is through a hex editor. I have tried opening the .p3d in O2 but I was not able to find where the model's textures paths were, so I tried it in WinHex, and I am not able to get it to work in there. Basically I want to do this: Change armymod\armyuniform.paa to usmcmod\armyuniform.paa

    Object inspector issue

    Ok, I have placed some objects in the editor which do not fit to the ground, so when I open the object inspector in WRPedit, it seems to "freeze." I can still exit the inspector and edit the map, but when I try to click any buttons in the inspector I get no response. I have the latest version, and have even reinstalled and read the manual and still can't figure out what is wrong. :mad:

    Ambient Combat Module

    I would like to know how to add factions from addons. I use the init sqs and type in the addon faction that I want, but when the units start the spawn, the game stops running. Do I need to add the groups from the addon to a certain file?

    I don't have time right now to get the preview section on here done, as I am trying to finish Koljuyev, but I will add it when time permits. Make sure you read the readme. I also need to add that the current config file I have in there is the ONLY one that will work for the mod. I only edited parts of Everon for the new environment, due to the fact that I did not like the grass very much. I have found a good grass mod now, and a completely redesigned Koljuyev is on the way and should be available for download in a week or two. :) I am giving you guys the closed beta build seeing as how it was pretty stable and doesn't have too many bugs.     Ultimate Flashpoint Mod

    First of all, uploading to megaupload is no better than gamefront. Secondly, the compression method I used probably won't work with other programs. That is why I said use 7zip only. Third, I cannot recreate any of these problems that you are having. Either your downloads got corrupted when you were downloading them or you are doing something wrong. Here is a simple photo tutorial. Follow it exactly and see if it works. 1. Open the first archive file that I showed earlier. 2. Double click on the ultimateflashpoint folder shown in the picture above to reveal the two folders that you need shown in this picture. 3. Click the extract button shown in the picture and tell it where you want the files to be extracted. I extracted my archive just to show you it works. I had no 0kb files like you had mentioned. If my testers downloaded these same files and got them to work, I dont know why you can't. When you download, don't do all the files at once. This will cause bad packets to be sent and will corrupt the downloads. One bad packet ruins the whole archive.
