    http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4662 Is it possible to port these to ArmA 2? There is some kind of a problem with the units, but the cars will work fine. All textures appear except for the back flashers. The doors will also open but it wont let me get in thanks to some animation issue.:(

    Ok, I got that now, but the tut highly recommends buldozer, which I can not find. WHY THE HELL CAN YOU NOT PUT YOUR TOOLS IN PLAIN SIGHT, BIS?!!

    There is too much of a mess in the configs so I will just concentrate on other content. :)

    The config is somewhat of a mess for most things for it to work in OFP. I would need to be switching alot of ";" "{" and "}" and then I would probably have other issues. But I will try anyways. :)

    That chart looks like total crap to me. I have never had the 5.56 mm rise 10 inches for me in RL at 200 m and then drop 30 inches by 400 m.

    I am getting new content put into the installer files ATM, which would make it equivilent to a 0.8 or so version, and I will use FF again. I figured out a way to keep them from deleting my files. I am going through ArmA 2 files to see if I can transport some material to this. :) @BronzeEagle I am not quite sure what you mean, but if that is soldiers shouting commands and such in combat, yes it does. :)

    Bullet drop. where is it?

    The drop usually comes at about 600 meters. In RL, the AK-47 drops drastically for me within 200 m so use the Ak's for closer range engagements, as even in game, they have terrible accuracy.:) The 7.62x54R on the other hand usually lasts out to about 500-700 meters depending on how good of a shot you are.:)

    Everyone knows how good Steam is. You never need a physical copy and you can install is on as many computers as many times as you want. :)

    Arma 2 difficulty VS Arma 1, OFP and the Rest...

    I am going to assume you guys dont know how to adjust the AI? I have it at a perfect balance. A friendly level of about 1.00 to an enemy AI of about 0.45 is much better. But if you set the enemy AI at 0, a bunch of guerillas can waste several squads of Spetznaz before they die. :p:D:bounce3:

    Game Save CTD

    My game keeps telling me that it has encountered an error when I try to save on Manhattan. Whether I try a manual or an auto save it CTDs and gives me that on Vista 64. Any guesses. It works fine on all the other missions. It started doing this after I let the NAPA cache in Gorka stay where it was.

    Does anyone know what time Steam will release this? Does steam need to use an NA publisher or can they use 505 as a publisher?

    Sniperwolf572. I would like to remind you that as an honest customer, that things such as SecuROM, punish me, an honest customer, and because I get punished, I deal out punishment of my own. Such as not paying for the game. The only reason I decided to buy ARMA1 was because of the 1.14 patch with removed securom. Otherwise I would not have bought it. BIS is making a huge mistake using securom, but I would not have a problem if it was something less intrusive and did not have rootkit features. BIS is cutting their throats by putting securom in here as it will only be toppled by some cracker that has nothing better to do, and because of its rep, people will turn to the other method to get it rather than being punished for doing the "honest" thing because BIS thinks they might get cheated.

    Good idea. :) Unfortunatley I am not sure if my newspaper would publish it. And the military version is actully the most preferred simulator?

    ArmA II: New AI System Discussion

    I must say that the AI looks much better than before, especially with urban warfare, but how moddable will it be? Can it be modded to fit certain situations that are not already covered?
