@jaynus It happens this way. We join all on the server, start the game, getting our Gear and suddenly the first one get a Freeze or CTD. He is still in TS3 and can talk with us. Then Suddenly the next guy and the next guy. We completly reinstalled the whole Server (Arma and TS3) new and will try it again in todays OP. If there is still a problem, i will try to get you some Crashreports too. BIS is looking into it specific? Thats great :) -

Is it possible in ACE to lift a AH-64 Apache with the Chinook? I tried it and i didnt succeed. Is it simply not possible to transport any Aircrafts? Thanks -

@mia389 Thanks for the Information. Our Report/Dump files were allready sended to ACRE DEV's. The next step we have taken is to completly reinstall the whole Server. Maybe there was a mixup in the many updates... Who knows. Will keep you posted. Thanks, Best regards MAG -

Hi guys, Our team has big problem atm with ACRE. As soon as some people are on the Server, the game freezes for some people. This only happens when ACRE is active (we made a test). We hoped the update today would help, but id didnt. We still got some crashes. I know SafetyCatch allready contacted the ACRE Developers, but i just want to make sure if we are realy the only one who have problems with the current Version? Are there others out there who has problem with ACRE & ArmaFreezes? We allready tried to reinstall the whole thing. ArmA2 isnt the same without ACRE :( Thanks. Have a nice evening -
You have the ratio on 12:3 Tripplescreen? That does the trick for me...

Well, those bugs where fixed a long time ago in our version, so no worries about them. The chopper is fully working now. Fixed: -Cockpit windows have no blue tint anymore, clear sight -Height is now accurate -Getinpositions are fixed Added: -Crewproxis (CoPilot, Loadmaster, Backcrew at Ramp) -Useractions for the Ramp (Lower, Level or Raise Ramp) Whats missing: -Weapons (all turrets were removed in the MLOD version i get from SmilieyNick), have problems to add M134 on the side. Help would be welcome. -Scripts for Cargo (ATV & ZODIAC &Crates), Slingloading & Fastroping (Thanks to norrin who provided us with Scripts, just have to get them working inside the Addon now :)) -Texture for the left side of the chopper for propper marker orientation -Thermaltexture for the Backseats (The rest is allready done) Just thought maybe its time for a little text with some updates. Releasedate: When its done, sorry guys.

Thats great to hear the RAF_Chinook is still in use after the boring CH47 from BIS is released... TF86 is still working on a new OA Version... :D Looking good so far...

Sure he needs water in an other place than his Camelback... Washing his head, brushing his teeths, using water for the MRE and other stuff. A bottle of Water (if its Nalgene or a canteen) is allways a good thing. High flow of water for a short time, which a camelbak only could deliver with much affort. But if the camelbak is your only issue on the Seals, ardy can be proud

Hi everybody. Im working on a chopper at the moment. My squad wishes an indoor light in red for night operations. Now i can add some markerlights, of course, but is it possible to make it aktive and inactive via the actionmenu without using any scripts? If scripts are needed, whats the simplest script solution? There should be a readme which will help you with the install preocedere. Basicly its just dropping the Modfolders into the Arma2 Directory. If you are unfamilier with those @modfolder procedere, you should look for an howto on Armaholic.com. @shemagh, those who hasnt them (:cool:), just wait for the next project

You have to set up your eyefinity properly... look on youtube, there is a introduction video how to set up the monitors as one big widescreen. After that, you can switch to tripplescreen ratio and get the wide resolutions. Have Fun :), i have

Texturing Help with CFG/PBO files

Hi, If the files are binerized, you havent lost - you just have to Hex-Edit the p3d file to change the path to the texture. Realy simple. Search for hex edit. There is also the tool MoveObject which can rename the path for you. Not only the p3d files are binerized, also the config files. There are tools to unbin those files, so you can read and change them (example Kegetys Tools) Wrote that on the Iphone, do dont expect any Links. Maybe when im home in 6 h... ;) -

Hi, How can i set up the Sling Loading Feature of ACE2 to a Chopper? I have full access to the config. I looked in the Wagn, but it isnt described. Is it a similar code like the one for adding the Fastroping (which is in the Wagn)? Thanks for all you work. Btw: ACE2 is Awesome. Cant wait to play ACE with OA. :cool: Best regards -

@MadDogX Thanks for your advice. After the reinstalling of win7 and installing Arma2 on a SSD i tryied your settings and it looks good. Tried some of the proper mods too. Will see how that goes in the next TF86OP I often tried Betas, but since i joined TF86, i havent, because they arent used there. but thanks for your offer. But back to my first question. If i would have to choose, which one would you take: A GTX-480 or a new MB X58 with a I7 930 OC@4Ghz? Thanks best regards -
Well, only thing i can say is, that smiley has taken a break from Arma and has given all the files over to Ardvarkdb. The last version i could play, looked great. Just be patient. Im sure the people behind the Chopper will do their best to fix the remaining things. :cool:

@MadDogX Thanks for your answer. Well, i guess my system is a little bit trashy :eek:. Finaly time for a FORMAT. :D Arma 1.05 with ACE and some TF86 Addons An Old-One: 196.21 only the VSync disabled and i force 3D modus all the time. Sometimes the Graphiccard clocked down to 2d Mode while i was playing Arma... Thanks -

Hi all, im thinking to upgrade my PC a little bit. At the moment i have a Q6600 @ 3.0ghz, evga 780i Motherboard, evga Ggtx285. everything on H2o. Running he game on Normal settings and getting in chernarus mostly below 30fps. My question: what would be the priority to upgrade? A x58 & i7 or a new graphic card (gtx 480 / 5870)? Is there a big difference between a q6600 @ 3.0 and a i7 at about 3ghz? Cant upgrade everything because of my adicction to H2O cooling (expEnsive). Written in iphone ... ;) -

What you call "Tags" is the Identification. Look in the userconfig, you can chose from 3 different modes. -Constant -MouseWheel activated -SpaceBar activated Hope i could help. cya -
Its easy, Just edit your Profile in ArmA2. The headgear's are like the sunglasses and the different faces you can choose.
