I have to correct what i wrote before as the Vikhr is not destinated to pilots and crews, afaik. Just MVD, BG and maybe FSB as for SMGs these are the winners... Klin PP-9 (Kedr PP-91 for police). SR-2M Veresk with its 9x21mm ammo scaled down from the bigger brother... SR-3 Vikhr aka MA (Malogabaritnyj Avtomat) confusion again because of language ;)

Personally i use with success even without crews the TIGR from ALPHA studio & the BTR70, so vehicles are availble but not always. Damn "BTR80 needs patch 1.014" error....

The Vikhr as far as i know is mostly used as secondary weapon as westerners use MP5 for crews. This is one of its uses because of its size and police forces use it in urban/CQB enviroment. I have some screens of Spets/MVD in training using them as well. Yet VAL is common amongst military as it was officially accepted years ago, but keep in mind that by some time the Russian military heads decided to test many new weapons on the field. First example was the tasting of the AN94 versus AEK971 but in official trials. The former was in final stages of its evolution but still not at the contemporary development level like it's sister model 973 (7.62x39mm) and the Abakan took the prize. Then AEK was given a second opportunity as you can see it in some frontline photos obviously taken by "Gorka users"... Think about it as something more these guys carry with'em. Sometimes it's an Abakan, sometimes a Groza or a SVU/SVDK... Btw i can find something more also about this one. Just don't ask too much about quality. Still i have many limits in finding certain stuff because of language ;) P.s. That's simply my nick with fake russian font :) nothing real mate

Being in complete accord with your modern warfare point of view, i found myself leaning to modern units but with limitations...as i know it's never properly represented but i still love some units look. Also my interest in mission design is about limited operations in numbers as in perspective so....

I think Arm2cat that you should consider who and what for you're talking to. What you are whining on is a free addon to your copy made by someone in its free time. I personally don't care about who really made something because without him i wouldn't be able to field some stuff i love to see. The concept is that much o less this person made it available to you, that as far as i know are unable to do it yourself. So consider what YOU made for this community before yelling incopetence to others that are "here" by many years and keep investing their time in it... I'd like to check this thread only to discuss with Vilas about his ideas even if they don't really match my desires, not to read your crap...

Yep that's what i wanted to ask in a second time (now). It would be too much asking for a replacement of some kind ? Having it as a normal weapon to be added, at least not in a particular model like an officer... Sorry Vilas for this "whining", still trying to understand how it works...

I loved this mod when it came out but last night in SP, i had troubles keeping my KA-52 low on the ground until it JUMPED skyhigh 2 times at the same time... Maybe you should have a look on it...?
