Is there anywhere i can download BIS allready debinarized models from resistance 1.96 to work with? In MLOD format? Have to much troubble with the binarize thing. Im doing a mod and it´s little hard to complete if half of it is in ODOL format. Even got troubble to binarize from MLOD to ODOL and then winpbo just shut down when it comes to pbo everything. And the game crashes when going from extract pbo with winpbo ODOL to MLOD with explorer, compress pbo with winpbo and back to res/addon folder... No mather if i save the pbo as resistance.pbo or just pbo. Crashes anyway.

Now with the AMD FX 4,3 ghz CPU, this mod can be really fun. :)

I would say it´s a 1.0, but i dont, it´s still some bugs to fix. This will improve youre fps preformance and raplace BIS units with others. All islands have new trees but Nogova and dessert island. Great to play multiplayer with. Is there any links to visitor tutorials out there? I have this basic Visitor tutorial. But there is no explonation how to create terrain elevation with the tool, only that it is "a very slow and difficult way" There is only how to import an ASE file from 3D studio MAX. But i dont want to import a ASE file from 3D studio MAX.

Mount and blade "is" total war, but it dont lag less than OFP. Look here and see what i mean.

Made a preformance test mission, it is made to compare a mod´s preformance to BIS Operation flachpoint Resistance. It was made to get the preformance out of Simple Models mod, but can be used with anything you want, as long as the config file for the little white civilian car is not changed. Tanks Rellikki But i would say that test is to test the computer you have. My test is made to test different mod´s, compared to BIS. So you can see gain or loss in preformance. Not how good youre computer is.

With that visibility the only thing you could do is to turn shadows off. The thing that make the game ugly is youre resolution. I tried to change from 1680 x 1050 x 32 to 1024 x 768 x 32 and it made no difference in preformance at all. I would say better 10 as you say ugly trees, then 2 nice. And this mod just help the preformance when you can see many units or trees at the same time, it dont make the waypoints in missions less CPU consuming. You should try to have less waypoints and more units if you can. Now the mod is fully playable. It´s all about performance. Those who like large realistic battlefields. And ofcourse those who like playing cti games multiplayer with full groupsize. This mod is fully multiplayer compatible now. It does a huge difference in youre fps, the good way. Now i think this mod is good for Operation Flashpoint, think of all poor african and chinese who can now play with us in multiplayer. The mod still need a lot of improvement in the models, but now just take a break and play it. Maybe it´s was that with OFP there comes a lot of tools, so the gamer dont really need a other game, as he could mod this to what he want. Ofqourse this piss of the game buissines as they wanted to sell one mission at the time other than the whole package at once. CTF is one game CTI is another game ond so on And here you have everything in 3 CD discs, and you could do youre own mission´s when the others was finnished or just simulate different cenarios. BIS sold the control of the game to those who buy it, when other game makers want to keep the control to them selves. Like a cow, BIS eate the meat of theire cow and that was yummy. The others will keep milking theire cow till it´s dead of high age and never get any taste of real meat. Now i hope ArmA 2 will broke theire bone one more time.

CPU´s inside graphics cards are leftovers, garbage. Why do you think there is no cards with 4000 mhz CPU´s inside? Listen now. There would be no money for the graphics cards buissines if they set cards with 4000 mhz CPU´s inside. These CPU´s are expensive to made = less money for the buissines when selling a graphics card. The buissines dont want to have less money, they want to have more money. So they sell garbage to you (and me) Understand?

The truth now pleas, did the SSD realy make a difference in FPS game preformance?

Maybe you should ask with what settings. One card would probobly be better with one type of settings, the other card would be better with other settings, if there is a hunt for fps, i would take the card with the fastest CPU if i must take a graphic card.

What do you mean by well? Is it how high graphics setting you could have Or is it Preformance?

Agree with TechnoTerrorist303 on two points here. 1) The biggest factors that affect frame rate in arma 2 are CPU speed 2) The best way to overclock is to turn off all the auto help

Noticed that if i turn every setting on low in preference and turn off in game option. Only leave viewdistance and visiual quality at full. And then overclock the gfx card as mutch as possible. There is no difference in fps game preformance at all, not a single fps in difference. To be honest it surprised me, i tought that at least the CPU in the grafic card would make some difference to game preformance. I only noticed some difference when i turn every setting in option and preference on full, and thats not so surprising. The question is how could it be that the gfx cards CPU dont make any difference at all, i know it´s only at 600-700 mhz compared to a PC CPU at 2000-3000 mhz, but when clocked from 576 mhz to 676 mhz i thought that i would see at least 3-5 fps up. Have GTX 260 1gb RAM. So now i look on a double or quad CPU motherboard, has anyone tried that with Operation Flashpoint? (this has nothing to do with quad or dual core, its how many CPU´s the motherboard can have) Quad CPU Supermicro quad Socket F Tyan Thunder K8QS Pro Socket 940 Or Dual CPU ASUS Z8NA-D6 Socket 1366 ASUS M2N-E SLI Socket AM2

I had also a 8800 GT witch work as good as gtx260 on low graphics settings in every game.

Do you really think a core in a quadcore is the same as a CPU? I also tought that, but that was 6-7 years ago, when the seller of a quadcore CPU convinced me that togheter all cores would give me 9000 mhz. Dumb as i was i thougt the computers really had did that progress so fast.:) Same time 10 years ago i had a laptop with 3 ghz CPU, now im sorry i throw it away then.
