    Some Modern Russian Boomsticks

    The models look better than in real life: there you have to polish them a lot for that beauty. But I don't think all these details are nessesary: 98% of all the time the player sees his gun from the 1 perespective, in other hands he sees only the 2-4 lod model and compressed texture. This addon is for better times with better graphic cards I guess. I still have big performance hits in towns - so the quality with price of performance does not make me happy.

    Very good job. The SPR should have a muzzleflash - and you did it. Just one thing - in reality there is "no finger on the trigger" till you exactly know where to shoot. The weapons are unlocked in combat situation - so the finger moves down if you have a target. Thats the only safe system.. In older movies guys are running with finger on the trigger around - cuz no one told them how to hold a weapon right. A real soldier with full methal jacket would never do such a mistake. But all in one : your fixes are good!

    Jep - I agree fully to the previous speed post. The Hind had to make a spped record - so the helicopter was modyfied to get into the book of records. The hind was unarmed, weight reduced. The gas turbines were toggled to maximum power - and besides to maximum fuel consumption. For an combat ready Hind 270 km/h are Ok. About 300 km/h when flown "empty".

    I really enjoyed flying this Hind- Â Â it makes good manovers and shows the ability of a good attack helicopter. The 1 ArmA Hind from RHS always says that 'burst/' is not a class ('displayName' accessed) so I tryed to find the error - but I had no chances - so I had to delete it. You made an amazing gear animation - it looks real. I noticed a small bug - the modern version has no FFAR rockets. (Peanuts) But the model seems very different from other hinds to me: - The canopy is very big http://airgroup2000.com/gallery/albums/userpics/12122/Korica03.jpg in the real hind there is no real big space. If you correct this - the chopper would be nearly perfect.     Good work. This is a first addon of sovjet tank since T-64 by RHS. (Still kind of beta.) The reskin and the ERA are looking good. But the external fuel tanks (or Drop tanks) are not looking so good. They are used by russian tanks, but just because russia is a big country and they make the armor units more independent from support. In combat zones or before tank assaults they are always removed. The main gun wins additional moving space, the tank is much more safe from burning (fire in the (or near the) engine is still a problem of modern tanks, and not just the russian ones). Can you make at least one version of the T-72 tank without external fuel tanks - and just "accurate combat ready"? If you have an unbinarized model yo can just remove the fuel tanks by deleating them . Please. The islands are not such big (20 - 30 km is the biggest route on Sahrani) that the external fuell tanks are really needed. And they look some kind of strange there. On the most photos and military websites you will find the T-72 without external fuel tanks - if the picture was taken in a combat situation, and not in the museum..

    The sounds are good , but i really dislike the fact that the machine gun in the tank is more loud than the main gun! M1A1, T72.     3 SLA Attack Helicopters Ka-50 "Hokums" are starting their engines to attack BLUFOR positions around Tiberia. (MP Game, today WARFARE 1.14) All 3 Kamovs are flown by Players. The Kamov in the picture and in middle of V formation, flown by a Russian pilot nicknamed "Volkov" provides overwatch and and AT fire, the formation wings fly low attitude attacks on the coalition infantry and fortified positions. After several successful air raids US Special Forces? are lucky to localize and hit the forwarded air base with mortar fire destroying several Kamovs during resupply. A large scaled SLA search party for the forward artillery observers was broken up without success.

    Oh jea - new drivers, new fun... I have the feeling ArmA is not so good optimized: there are no serious benchmarks and a lot of bugs in the betas.     MIG 15 addon by Bdfy and Volksturm

    Show me a better/ or at least equal aircraft made by community. There is a good chance there will be no addon of better quality and campaign; till the game gets forgotten with ArmA II. This is exactly the art of attitude of criticism that nobody can like here. Another addon-makers who done much more less get their support, but here talented addon makers get really discriminated for what they said/ wrote in the past. Do you really believe that a guy who said a wrong/ incorrect sentence or has / had different point of view (and was banned for it) can't do good work?! There is at least good support from talented teams and members on the Russian forums. You write it is static... for you. An standard ArmA Hummer is kind of static too: you can't not open any doors, soot through open windows or at least deploy different weapons on the hatch. But you play and like the game and have here about 1400 posts since 2004... An aircraft that is made for 1 person flying has all the functions that are needed for good play and looks photo realistic - don't download if you don't want to. Show us the site pls... before that happens there is no real proof. Make a Sabre or sth. like it with the quality of THIS MIG and become a "prick".

    ArmA 2 Press Coverage

    Looks like 'Resistance' for me: The engine should be the same as in ArmA - with all consequences... The bots will walk more precisely, the graphics will be increased, textures better, some rifles, cars and tanks - and what? I bet no real AI combat improvements will be made (no cover, suppressing fire, smoke shields and maneuver elements, artillery support over radio, tanks that try to get the hull down and keep distance.... because of...) so the game will be quite the same as ArmA and from the AI capabilities OPF: Resistance. I believe the money is always in the first line made by regular customers and not with people who "wanna try this new game out" – they can do so without purchase it. For me as an old OPF fan it is not so important how perfect the graphics are (or how big and accurate the landscape masses look) - the real fascinating (or not) game play don't depend only on them. The real thing of OPF was the innovation, and I hope it won’t get lost.
  22. All in one good work, but the Mashine Guns (PK, M2) in tanks are more loud than the main gun. The 30mm auto cannon of the BMP2 is very silent, the M4 SD makes far more noise than the 30mm.

    Nice for you to have a "new" PC (under one year old) or a "new" graphic card. But the profit is depending on the number of people that can play. Graphics is an aspect this game, but not the main one. The BIS should concentrate on the game aspects that make the game unique and "best" in the category in my opinion. Only then they can sell good... AI - no game has the "custom combat" freedom of ArmA and supporting this lagre scale operaions. BUG: Running (from cover) very close to the AI solder will make him flee. He trys to keep distance from that he can ingage, but keeping this distance low makes a lot of fun . He can't engage under 2 meters?! I wanted to make a youtube vid, but thought that this is not good for the game developers. Problem: in the firefights radio chatter has AI priority during engagement. This should be exactly the other way... Example: I'm suddenly standing in front of the enemy (under 50m), the enemy reports the contact, waits for order and then engages. I have about 2-8 seconds? time to kill him. It would be a significant improvement when the KI shoots first and reports the contact seconds later.
