    Seventh's music from OFP CWC/Res was great. A bit weird music just to listen to, but as background material of a cutscene or mission the tracks were (and still is) great!

    the expansions? I dont think they've sold a lot..mabye a few hunderd..or a few thousand.. Actually i do not think they deserve anything more than that. It's BIS' game afterall.

    This helped clear it all up. I do still wonder about this "ultimate addon collection" a while ago for support of a fansite, but they were probably allowed by this codemasters licence. I am not planning to sell anything , I never fully understood how those people could sell their unofficial Expansions while lots of good modifications will have to work for free.. I have never tried any of the expansions, and i really thought they did contain new addons.

    For an addon to follow the AAE standard properly, a mission for the addon should be made... Now, will it be necessary to include two .msi's for the addon; one for the addon itself and one for the mission, or would it be best to make a zip containing the .msi packed addon and just a .pbo mission?

    Oh...i thought midi files was just as mobile phone-ringtones - that they are just based on a well-known melody. Yea, well afterall those large music files add a lot of unnecessary megs to the mission.pbo! So with TheAvonLady's AMORE system, a user adds his/her soundtrack and at the same time he/she agree to a policy saying that it can be freely distributed in any OF mission then?! But i get you, and i bet that is the reason why Seventh is behind all the melodies in OF

Not very high quality though, but atleast you do not use the original copyrighted version. okay now?

    Ok, I understand. I thought the installer was like the beta where you browsed for your \addons folder. Now as you just browse to your \Flashpoint directory, i get the point Do any other game developer publish that much help and tools for it's community?

    Mabye make it some sort of fence system... that wires will be sonnected to the closest pole.. And same with fences.. that you just needed to place the poles, and the fence itself stretched between the poles...

    I sat home watching a movie when i got some (more) ideas for OF improvements.. At this very moment i have to commit that the OF grenades is not the best out. Improvements here could be; -Timed frag (current is frag-on-impact. Would 3-4secs be about "normal"?) -Some flashbang possibility (if OF2 is going to support CQB better,as claimed) AND as the player gets "tired" after running fast over longer distances i believe there is some sort of timer in OF. Mabye twixing this timer to support a soldiers damage could be nice. That a leg injury got worse if the player ran, so that crawling would be smarter, or that a player lost a lot of blood when wounded, so he would black out after a certain time.. Working hangar ships could be nice. The hangars ship's models could get some new selections in the memory LOD defining helicopter landings, aircraft parkings, landings and take off so that the AI's could use it as well. When the player dies from a grenade explosion, he might get thrown away, and when he land, he lands with the left arm,leg under the surface, and the body is then "rotated" back in place. It's good the body doesn't get stuck under the surface, but mabye making the surface unbreachable would fix this.. And for other cars, men and vehicles it would be nice if the engine applied damage textures and/or even a damage LOD to shoe how the vehicle would look like when destroyed. At this time i believe the models just get "wrecked" by ofp(might not look so well all the time ;)) Anyway, there is no doubt that OF is a world-class no1 simulator as it is already!! And i don't think i have ever seen such community and modding/addon support as the OF community has got. Thanks for all this. (I believe i can say this on behalf of every OF player out there)

    Would be okey as long as they made a lagg-less voice-over-net thingy. Most, atleast many, voice servers, or what to call them, turns up a games lag factor. And i believe those who want to talk can download TeamSpeak,RogerWilco or God knows what...

    Was it kegetys that recommended to use jpg for the first, closest LOD, and then pac files for the others? Atleast then a player without big specs would run the addon fine..

(but i guess this has already been thought of) And will this loyal addon community get some sort of prerelease of any CommentedConfig/Command Reference for ofp2? Just so we do not prepare our ofp2 addons too wrong.

    N00b question

    try to press Alt+Esc.. That should switch to next running application which should be Oxygen. But i have sort of same problem here. I downloaded Buldozer two days ago on this (new) machine, and now it seems to open buldozer maximized (on the older computer it runs in about 600x400 i think) May that be something to do with the new Oxygen Viewer?

    Mod console

    I just wondered if i set up my own mod console/full modification for ofp resistance called MYMOD, and i include a DTA\Data3d folder to the mymod directory, would mymod then use this folder as a full replacement of the ofp\res\dta\data3d folder? Or if i changed one file or two, would only the changed files count, and mymod would pick up the rest from the stardard res folders? Same with addons - are there any way to make the mymod only pick up addons from ofp\mymod\addons? at the moment it seems mymod browse addons from all addon folders (except 1.46 and other mod addonfolders) Have anyone written anything about this anywhere?
