I have got several questions on what this really is, and to put it the simple way - it is an addon with camouflaged faces which people are free to edit and use for their own addons. Hope atleast that made sense

It does not really require a lot of Oxygen modelling, though the small O2 part is probably the most important point of the whole thing. Maybe I should make the O2 part a bit clearer, but I thought most of the addonmakers taking advantage of this script know enough to figure out that part themselves Dont hesitate asking if you've got any problems! And thanks a lot for the mirrors

That has got to be the best replica pic i've ever seen

Hi, Some of you may have noticed Norwegian Forces Studio being quite inactive lately and the NFS website being disfunctional. This is because a new project has been launched, the Norwegian Military Forces Project (NorFor in short). NorFor will, in comparison to NFS, create units, vehicles and weapons in use by the Norwegian defense forces, but NorFor will in addition try and create foreign units and terrains in order to create a realistic simulation environment where you, as a norwegian unit, can participate in international conflicts, such as in the middle east, or in Kosovo (if everything goes by the plan). We will also try and create realistic scenarios and mission simulations to come with our addon modules, being not only instant action, but realistic, and still exciting, patrol- and recon missions. Some examples of our work in progress: Mercedes-Benz 240 GD #1 Mercedes-Benz 240 GD #2 Norwegian Patrol, Kosovo Step by our website and have a closer look.

Due to a config error, the pathname for the icons was wrong, resulting in a "Picture" error message and blank markers. Fixed As the original files was updated, the download paths are the exact same as the previous and disfunctional versions. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks Kopijeger! nomMarkers1.zip

Today the Marker Module 1 is finally complete. Containing 45 new norwegian map marking symbols, the Marker Module 1 is an important aspect of a realistic simulation environment, providing you with a variety of different detailed markers letting you mark off enemy and friendly units and positions in the field. The module is covering eight units of different sizes, from Team to Division, a variety of AntiTank Mine counts, from 100 to 1000 pieces, and several technical units such as the 81mm Motar or 106mm Recoilless. Map markers can either be inserted to the map when editing a mission, or they can be added to the map during a scenario simulation. Read more and download from our website. Feedback is highly appreciated. Regards.

Looks very nice! I have written a functional script which applies custom faces to a model randomly, and changes this face texture to the appropriate wound/dead texture when the person is shot. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested. Â And as an addition, maybe you could modify this program (Was it Kegetys'?) which extracts and re-packs the data.pbo and/or data3d.pbo to add this modified content to all of the soldier models and textures for the standard OFP units.

Is it so even skins and additions for games are property their authors? If so, importing / reworking without giving credits is quite a bit more serious than just "don't download"... Atleast as of my opition.

These tools are nice! However, when I adjust the green bar, the "Color value" for the blue bar is being changed, and vice versa. Have I just messed up here, or is something wrong? Btw - This is also visible in the published screenshot at ofp.info, note the color value for the green bar represent the value for the blue color.

Hello. We, the Tales of War Network, has been very reorganized. We are now hosted by OFPCentral.com, allthough our OFP.Info host will still be used as a file mirror. New sites: http://tow.ofpcentral.com From one mod we have developed into a mod network. It consists of the following: - ToW: Core - wich sole purpose it is to manage the others - ToW: Joint Command - the Tales of War and Joint Command missions development team hard at work to create missions for the Tales of War Network - ToW: VBS1 - A brand new initiative to create addons for the VirtualBattlespaceOne simulation (http://www.virtualbattlespace.com) - ToW: Files - A complete file archive of all addons and missions created by the ToW teams. Hosted by www.ofp.info and last but not least - ToW: Global Incidents - the team of ToW who will make develope addons for OFP A new forum has also been established at http://tow.ofpcentral.com/forums. We hope that the community will like what they see and continue to follow us in the time that comes. Thanks - Tales of War Management

Very true. Actually any modteam can submit missionrequests using specific addons (if they need a demomission for an upcoming addon for instance).. Leave a note at this board under Mission Ideas explaining for which mod, what addons to include, a possible pre-made storyline, and we will see what we can do. The community is indeed in need of some missions for all the amazingly great addons out there. We can unfortunately not provide missions for the very load of addons, but atleast we can participate and create missions for some of the addons out. Whether the addons are made by TOW or not does not really matter.

As we have been reorganising, there has been no time for addonmaking lately. However, the delta addon is still in progress, and the end of the tunnel is clearly visible at that front. As some have heard, we have got our U2 Spyplane more or less ready for internal testing, and I can announce we are working on some vehicles as well. As for missions, I've heard a few ones are being shipped over here as we speak. More to come soon

That is really a matter of how many errors I get when finishing up the webpages

andersgrim replied to MontyVCB's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
What about ending it with: Anything found violating the rules when applying for a position in Tales of War may be reported to me or Jahve, and we will either deal with it ourselves or ask you to deal with it for us. So the next time this happens, we all know Aviel is just after the postcount ;) -
I do not know about GIMP, but in Photoshop you can do that by changing the Hue/Saturation of the image.

Maybe we'll add some of those old classics... Like Cowboy and the rest of the Kingbees (for the SOG version).. I do not have the very details, but I thought the CH34 and the Sikorsky UH34 was the same bird.. Anyways, yours looks indeed good! -

Just hold on for a few. We will announce more soon. We have been a bit silent the latest time, maybe too silent. But we just want to show that we are still here, still working, not inactive or things like that.
