Whatever has happened, the patches since 1.08 have split up the multiplayer community pretty badly. The sooner we get a final patch the better.

You don't need a bodyguard to use a pair of binos in real life. Although yes, obviously, that would make sense during extended periods of observation. But that's not what we're talking about, unfortunately this is just a bad design. Simple as. Col Faulkner's solution sounds pretty sweet - I tend not to use the pistol slot either, usually got that filled up with spare UGL rounds.

Not a fan of the new FOV. Is everyone thinking about how nice it looks and not how even further your peripheral vision has been decreased?

Aye that was a very cool addon in OFP. Espcially for mission makers, good for making areas "out of bounds" to the fly boys.

I gather this had made targets seem closer, or at least more in scale with real life. Just now with less peripheral...

Am I the only one that sees moving ailerons, rudder, flame out the back and spinning wheels? Doesn't seem very static to me. Combined with 6th Sense tracers and NIM weather, makes for a very fun game. -

This aircraft is incredible, and is only outdone by it's own campaign! Brilliant stuff, best single player action i've had in ArmA so far. -
Fully agree with KNato, Air to air in ArmA is never going to be much cop. Close Air Support however, on multiplayer, with all air and ground assets controlled by humans, is amazing. This ability definately makes the game for me. Although I guess I may be a little bias in that dept...

Awesome! Thought about something just like this, good luck with it! If i wasnt already in a squad, i'd consider starting my own PMC or joining one. Will keep an eye out.

Join a squad, any squad. I recommend a co-op squad cause I find you can apply real world tactics more often, and can still do joint ops and versus games. That's just me though. Combined Arms Joint Ops FTW!

We just tried a formation of F16 CAP and CAS against some targets, very cool! Found the gun very effective at lighting up Sus in dogfights. Sometimes found it difficult to get a lock with the AA missiles. Awesome plane though, just needs an afterburner to get out of sticky situations.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but will the next version(s) have a joystick modelled? Unsure how difficult this is to do, but i'd prefer a simple grey stick to nothing at all. Giving this plane a lot of use, thanks again!

Think it's right shoulder. As others have said, an afterburner glow/speed boost would be awesome! Cheers!
