Or even better, give each unit a menu bar underneath "skill" in the editor for mission makers to choose. That way we can decide who's a deadeye, who's never picked up a gun before, and everything in between. And maybe get rid of "skill" all together and just have one bar for accuracy and one for rate of fire. So that unskilled AI will spray everywhere on full auto and elite professional AI will take precise, considered shots. But then you can also have units that will shoot like mad fairly accurately, and units that may take their time but still can't hit shit.

That bit was awesome, what caused them to say that? Having the enemy shouting while they fight is something i'm really missing.

I think the M16A4 is very similar to the A2 but with a Picatinny rail so it can have laser attachments, torches, hand grips and other gadgets fitted. The only aspects that really make any difference in ArmA are the type of scope/sight used and the fire modes available.

This is not a bug. The AI take their goggles off and put them on the same time all year round. Why is this important? If you set the date to the winter months, you'll find that the days are much much shorter, i.e. the sun goes down much earlier than in summer. The AI put their NODs on "early" in summer because the time they are set to put them on coincides with the advent of darkness in the shortest day of the year, NOT with longer days that occur in summer. So that means there'll be times when human players can see fine, but any AI without NVGs will be hampered visually as if it's night time, right?

I can feel the LGB hits through the floor, very cool. Yeah, as Miles said, hearing your equipment rattling is really immersive. It's just that particular clicking noise that sounds out of place.

Butterflies can scare the crap out of you in tense situations if you spot one out the corner of your eye. And you can shoot down birds with rifles and RPGs...

Eaglets by OTK Studio for the MIG 15 addon is an excellent mini campaign. Â Very high quality and reminds me of some of the best OFP single player missions.

This is a seriously stunning sound mod. The only thing preventing me using this over AACF is the weird clunking noise you get when moving as a soldier. I guess this is intended to simulate equipment clunking together as you run, but to me it sounds like doors being unlocked in Morrowind or Oblivion. A little disconcerting when you're running around in what otherwise sounds like a fierce firefight. Â So yeah, just that for me and it would blow the pants off all the other sound mods. Â

I've got QG, it's great. But it's a pain if you want to make missions and play with a unit, cause not everyone has the money or is dedicated enough to buy it. So quality islands such as this without the QG tag are a blessing.

Have you ever considered delving into these "closed communities" to see what you might be missing out on? There's more to ArmA than Warfare, Evolution and cheaters.

It shouldn't be necessary anymore, although if I remember correctly it imprints itself onto the mission.sqm, meaning the mission expects everyone else to have it. Delete it from your .sqm and Addons folder.

If you have 1.14, you have warfare. Make sure you're careful which servers you join, some may be passworded, or require addons. Also, if you are still unable to connect, try and catch the error message if you get one.

Doubt even that could. MBTs go above the 70t mark, even items such as the M777 are designed to be extremely light so that heavy lift choppers can move them. Aircraft are fairly light by design anyway. Could all armour be disabled?
