    great job, I have firefox and I can see all the images. THANKS! Just curious...I did just the same thing. Only I didnt host them so others could see them. However, my objects are not named like Land_fence, rather they are named House. one after another , house house house house Did you use a different editor update that named them? Or is this an effect of the Czech to English conversion from Sickboy? (thanks, sicky ) I think I used the G85 update from a german link. those labels are more helpful than just 'house' for every one.

    Issue with flag return on players death.

    well I have the will to help , I just lack the knowledge I have opened up an OFP map and looked at a CTF script made by Karrilion, which has flag return included. Perhaps what you seek is in the script. I hope this helps. Of course, the names for my flag images will be different than yours...

    SC Sector Control

    I made one using the wizard, and it works well, but its in some sort of basic editor, so I cannot do much more than move the units that automatically came with the wizard around. It comes default with five sectors (1-5), with sector #5 worth 2 points per time period being held as compared to the other four sectors worth 1 point per time period. Like I said , it works fine and all, I just wish I could do some advanced editing to it. It doesnt save as a .pbo file, rather a wizard file, so I couldnt depbo it after i saved it to tweak it. pic of map: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/Bigtires79/1-3.jpg If anyone knows how to use advanced editor options on a mp-wizard editor map, I'm all ears.

    Armed Assault is missing quite a few basics

    He's making an effort to play and enjoy the game, but the community may just turn him off rather than the gameplay. If I was new to the community and got this kind of reception I would not bother using this forum. I understand being defensive, but give him a break, eh?

    why can't both sides understand that it takes both sides to make up this community that OFP/ARMA has, great as it is. comments from both 'game mode' camps are putting a real drag on this relationship. For me, I will get used to the new animations. When I get a new computer I may have more than 10 fps WOOOO!

    I am in both groups here, played all games modes but RTS extensively. For a fast paced shootout between multiple human players, ArmA seems too slow. It appears to me that it takes longer to get your player to do anything. Finding that action waypoint to bring up vehicle or ammo menu is rarely accomplished on the initial try The great new animations of ArmA make shooting enemies a slower process. Moving my rifle and aiming on a target, especially +90 degrees of change result in what feels like to me an eternity to get on target and get an accurate shot off. Sidestepping from crouched position is an eyesore to watch, and just takes too dam long to recover aim. I have been using the standing position, which gives me a faster recovery time for my aiming, but compromises accuracy of quick successive shots. Bringing up the scope on most weapons lowers my framerate to unplayable levels, so it's best I don't use it. you asked for some explanations, and (briefly) this is how I see it. For the better, or the worse, I am playing this game, with any animations.

    AI Helicopters

    thanks for the invisible H tip. I made the chopper land using Waypoint : Transport Unload Combat Mode : Hold Fire, Engage at Will Formation : No Change Speed :Limited Behaviour:Stealth and in the On Act field I typed: bh1 land "get out" bh1 being the name of the Blackhawk helicopter unit. My playable characters in the chopper have a seperate GET OUT waypoint, synchronized with the choppers Transport Unload waypoint For my mission, the Chopper leaves the area after the squad disembarks on a beach, traveling to its Base waypoint. during playtesting, the chopper was damaged enroute to the beach, and had great trouble landing due to tail rotor damage. It made five attempts to land, with all but the last spinning out of control. That pilot landed and the crew GOT OUT. They did not go to the next waypoint. lol . They might not have been smart, but they weren't crazy! I was a player character riding in the chopper, and I was laughing watching the landing, and I was impressed that we did not crash.

    For buyers that need english the version, I suggest buying @Sprocket, because you can get the game from your computer! English distribution for a Czech language v1.01 sickboy Sit right there in the comfy chair, push a few buttons, and have ArmA installed. Its just too easy for excuses.

    AI shooting chopper?

    I was able to get 2 Antiaircraft AI set on expert skill level to fire at a passing Blackhawk using waypoints, with mixed results. The target(BH) was passing an island where the two AI where located, on route to another location. for timing events together, I used a MOVE waypoint to get the AI to the SEEK AND DESTROY waypoint, at which I made them : open fire, engage at will behavior - combat speed - full formation - column Mixed results are that sometimes both AI would fire and hit the chopper(destroying it), sometimes neither would fire , but most times one missle would hit the chopper, and that is what I was aiming for  I hope this helps, for I am kinda new to scritping things myself. In the past I would just ask Zombie to do it for me. Â

    an update on my situation.... -My emails were responded to -A new download was made available to me -I downloaded the setup.exe again, this time with no corruption. I installed the ArmA successfully and entered purchase info for activation. Everything is working, and I thank BIS/IDEA/Softwrap for their service and support.

    I received a reply from support@IDEA games. He asked that I check the md5sum of the setup.exe . I think I checked it properly and it was a different number than it was supposed to be. Awaiting further replies.
