Maybe because none of us have hard issues with the number of enemy in War Welcome. I beat it the first time I played through it after just learning how to use High Command. It's the type of game mode that War Welcome uses. It's combining Warfare and High Command. I think Warfare should have been left to MP, but BIS tried to flaunt it off in the SP content, where it doesn't work as well in my opinion. Nonetheless, it's not like War Welcome is impossible.

When OA comes out my favorite feature will be either FLIR and/or UAVs. For now, I'd say it's modability is my favorite feature. :)

Lol, well, there's nothing they can do about that. You really think it's realistic for them to change all of the voice acting in the scenarios post-release (Arma 2)/this close to release (OA)? :butbut: I agree that the voice acting in the official scenarios is awful (apart from a couple of the voice actors), however. But I can easily live with it. Hey, what about making a mod that replaces those with voices done by the community?

I agree that it doesn't have much replay value outside of custom map maps. However, I think the story was funny in parts (I mean, GLaDOS, and cake... Come on!) and the gameplay was unique. So even if it does lose it's appeal after the first time you play it, that first time is always a helluva lot of fun. :D Still, it is free, and you should seriously not miss such an opportunity to have a short-but-sweet SP experience.

I thought I'd give you all a bit more information since I've now made it to the last mission. Yes, I'm currently designing the last mission of the campaign, along with fixing issues in the other missions. I won't say much as I don't want to ruin the surprise, but I do think that this mission will be an epic and satisfying conclusion to the campaign, or so I hope. What I can say is that it will have multiple endings and these will be decided by the player based on the outcome of the mission, which will either intensify or stop the war. Due to this it may take a little while to finish it on top of everything else I have going on at the moment, but rest assured it is coming. Hopefully I'll be able to get some teaser pictures of it soon, or perhaps even some trailer or gameplay clip. You never know, it could. Arma 2 processing at that slow of a framerate is bound to cause anomalies, as I've experienced in both Arma 2 and other games. But how do you find that low of a framerate playable? :butbut:

Are you sure all the parts of your PC are correctly installed, the plugins are fully plugged-in, etc.? Do you have the latest drivers installed for all of your pieces of hardware? Is your Windows 7 fully up to date?

There's nothing wrong with using these beta patches. You'll be missing out greatly if you don't want to use them because you're one of those people who, for one reason or another, don't use beta patches, but it's your choice. He seems to be SP only, and the official SP content for Arma 2 still has issues.

What "black screen" bug are you referring to? I have never encountered it and I'm also using a nVidia card (GTX 280). That's leading me to believe it's an error of the user, not the game, whether or not you claim it is. Post some specs, settings, and even a screenshot of what you're getting so that we have some idea of what you're talking about.

You really need to lower your ingame video settings... However, it is a bug. Why would you select the crashed Huey anyways? It's crashed, it can't fly, it can't move. Granted it shouldn't be in there then, but my point still stands.
