Turn mouse smoothing to 0 if you havent already. I have no idea why it isn't 0 by default but it made my ArmA experience pretty awful for years.

It was fixed for Chernarus by the Landtex mod (Nikiforos already linked to it in this thread). It made the island much more beautiful imo and it was created by altering the original textures in Photoshop. The protagonist's less than lukewarm reaction to his brother's death was very noticable. No prone is bothersome. The rest looks intriguing.

Did anyone else have problem installing the game using the exe file they handed out with the facebook promo? I launch it and click "install" which makes me log into Steam, but nothing happens afterwards.

That is deeply unfortunate.

So I assume that DayZ is going to use the ArmA3 engine, right? It would be quite silly if it stickd to the ArmA2 engine.

On a sidenote, how are the prequels so bad? I though that Episode 3 is great and the other two would be also very good without the stupid bs scenes for kids (Jar-Jar and the droid head switch in Ep. 2) The key points of the original trilogy are also terrible (20 X-wings wipe out a moon sized space station, the Endor shield generator is overrun by some dumb ewoks, etc)

I beat KotOR 1 about 20 times and KotOR 2 about ten times. I enjoyed the story a lot and the whole game was just fun. By the 15th playthrough, there were some relatively long dialogues I knew by heart even though I wasnt trying to memorize them. :D

So, anyone else here bought this ROUGH baby? :D I crash at the end of the first round, but the devs promise a bigger patch tomorrow. In the meanwhile, I drool at the ships in the ship designer.
