I haven't finished all LODs, this will result the vehicle disappear  at far distance, and the turret isn't fully functional. I want to try to let the Cmdr to be able to control the main turret when turned in like gunner does, but my knowledge with config is very limited, have no idea how to achive that. The release was intended to be tested within VMA, but if someone is intereted to help with config and modelcfg, will be much appreciated. and here are 2 SS to show the current state of the NZLAV:

someone or mod team please make a Desert Storm mod based on 90's Gulf War similar to BF1942's Desert Combat( Desert Shield, El Alamain, Dust Bowl, 73 Eastings...) right now there're many units ready for both US and Iraq sides

Hi! I'm working on NZLAV(LAVIII) for my clan, which is a part of the NZDF Mod, the model is almost done, just need to modify the default Sryker. I'm having trouble in O2, I got ST, Non-linear/planar mapping errors , however I don't see anything wrong in game. Can someone (DaSquade, xnodunitx, namreg, Panda[PL], nephilim, plaintiff and many other experienced modlers) please give me a paint-over correction? Thanks! Here are some shots: Edit: I've read DaSquade's tut about st, non-linear mapping in O2 Modeling section but I can't figure it out how to correct the model in 3ds max, I'm a newbie only touched 3ds max for 3 weeks Oh if my work breaks any rules that are permission stuff related, please let me know, I'll make a new Styker. -

Hi Maddmatt! Is it possible to remove the impact sparks on infantry(coz it looks a bit cartoonish)? The sparks on vehicles are fine.

Hi Parvus, just saw your latest two screenshots, I notice the guys sit in front seats have nice hair styles, and the hairs has their own shape, my question is what model/addon do you use for taking that screenshots? are they default characters in arma? I ask this coz when I create custom faces no mater what kind of hair the reference face has, they all appear bold head shape. cheers!

Hi snake22000, is it possible to split the sound from XAM and make it work with other mods? Which file should I pick to replace other sound files? After tried various sound mods I found the sound in XAM is the only one that suits my taste, so any help will be much appreciated.

Hello! Can someone please tell me how to use scripts in ArmA step by step? I've got a "choppers.sqs" for better helo formation flying, I created a user mission in editor, then put this "choppers.sqs" into that mission folder, but after I typed command this exec "choppers.sqs" in unit's initialization field, I got an error message. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the explaination, TJ72! So, as I understand, according to the error message, there should be 8 units including me in the mission? If I want desired number of units in my custom mission, I have to edit the scripts to fit my needs, is that correct? edit* I copied all contents from the "choppers.sqs" script here: let's say I want another chopper to follow my lead start from engine off state, then fly in formation, which string should I change? Please give me an example. After changing that, what command should I use to activate the script? Should I put the command into both initilization field or just put it into AI's initilization field? Where should I store the script, like this: "C:\My documents\ArmA\missions\Chopper\scripts"? Sorry if this question annoys you guys, I really want to see the result using this script. Any help would be much appreciated! -

It might help if you posted that error message here The error message says: 'var= _this |#| select 8' Error select: Type object, expected array, Config entry got similar error message. I tried some tips from the link below, but still no success http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=56560 where should I place these custom scripts and how to activate them? -
