Thanks for the mission trytyker! I like SP flying missions, especially OPFOR. I gave the mission a try and took the Huey. I picked up the squad and drooped them off at the assigned spot (Hind unlocked message came up just as I descended to drop them), but when I got back to base the same objective came up, and the hinds kicked me out ("occupied" message").

I second that. Namalsk is such a wonderful environmet, it's a shame there hardly any available missions for it, and coop resapawnvive free - none...

Another cool mission and execution, action packed attack on a Soviet held town by a Dutch unit on "Dutch Rush".

I run JSRS 1.4.3 sound mod. I suppose some of the sounds are from CWR2, which actually uses JSRS as well.

Gave Northern Insurgency another try on the new version last night (full house of players). The first radio message when searching the body still showed only for the guy who searched it (the leader in that case). The civilians at the airport were in the control tower and the dialog with the governor seemed ok. However, no armor attacked the airbase at all. We waited for about 10 minutes, that should be enough I suppose? Good ride nonetheless, thanks for your missions OMAC! Waiting for more! :)

I was thinking that if someone can put some affective pressure on the Greek judicial system, it must be the Arma 2 Greek community. I've been following the activities to help the arrested developers but I didn't see any organized effort in these lines. International efforts are nice, but I presume that pressure from within the country and its citizen could have more effect. I suppose that if there's a Hellenic mod there should be an active Greek community that can organize itself? Does anyone know if something in this respect been done? Will love to see replies from Greek citizens.

ArmA 2 Game Launcher

First of all, thank you for this great utility! I'm trying to use it but I get all sorts of graphical bugs in the menus, error messages and my settings doesn't seem to always save. I checked if my .net installation is updated by using the following command line: wmic /namespace:\\root\cimv2 path win32_product where "name like '%%.NET%%'" get version and recieved this: Version 3.5.30730.0 4.0.30319 4.0.30319 A friend of mine has 4.0.30319 as well and has no problems with the launcher. and about 3.5.30730.0 - I read some more and Microsoft say different versions of .net can coexist so I don't understand what could be wrong... Can anyone help me with that? Thanks in advance! -

Ok, gave Sweepers a try on the CiA dedicated server with all slots manned. Good fun! As far as the special features are concerned, we heard the text-to-speech recording - although could be better with human voice, it's still a nice touch and adds to the mission atmosphere. We also heard the effect of the AA shooting down the C-130... we were too late to take the AA unit out because we kept STT on support for STO hehe... What I looked for and didn't experience was the chats between the Chedaki militants that you put the transcripts for. We actually snuck pretty close to one of the points they hold but couldn't hear anything. Where do we suppose to hear these conversations? Also installed the MVD pack. Tested the two missions myself quickly. Looks very very nice! Looking forward to playing them...

That mission is great as it is Phantom, but if you are after making the Sobors part a bit harder, stop the friendly AI assault at the outskirts of the sobors and have some stationary enemy in the heart of the towns, forcing the human player breach through.

No problem bardosy. I will keep an eye on you ;) Regarding a weapon pool, a massive weapon pool selection, of all the US or Russian arsenal, is always a turn off. Include only the weapons you feel that shall not impact the balance of the mission and that you feel that are "fit" for.

I'm glad to announce that Comrades in Arms now runs also Aliabad and the Tier One units. Therefore, we will host this pack on the server as part of our Friday Night Special sessions! Thanks Nkenny and whoever wants to play this mission pack feel free to join! -
At one point I remember dialog lines being overlapped. I'm pretty sure it was the part where your Afghan lieutenant speaks with the person who provides intel on the group that put the IED.

We played co04_scramble_air.zargabad.pbo last night. We took out the armour from a long range and shot down the Hinds, loosing one apache to a MANPAD missile. The mission was over in about 2 minutes. Good fun, but if it could use some more challenge. Maybe limit the missiles on the Apaches and force the players to attack with rockets? The mission in its current design would be perfect in ACE, which has more realistic weapon behaviour on the helicopter. Do you think it is ACE compatible?

It's hard for me to tell at this stage since we haven't try the mission fully in coop yet. I really look forward to it though, especially after reading the conversations you posted!
