    keeping water out

    hey guys, im working on a underwater lab that can only be reached by diving to it. right now you can dive into it no problem and swim inside of it, however i was curious if it is possible to keep the water out from the interior so that the player could walk into it? i saw there was a code or something to keep water out of boats interiors but i cant find that thread anymore... any help on either finding it or does anybody know a way i could do this (if even possible.)

CURRENT VERSION ======= 0.3 DESCRIPTION =========== ARP 2 Objects adds multiple misc objects and items to enhance the mission makers tool box. this allows for more detailed missions and helps the mission maker bring the scenario to life better. in V0.3 a huge list of inventory items as well as objects have been added. there are a few issues with the cameras but the objects are good to go. HOW TO USE ========== install the mods as normal, you can then find all items in the editor under "objects" as well as "ammo". they have a different icon for easy recognition. Special Thanks ============== Bad Benson,Neubauer, Austin, m1lkm8n and Binkowski for putting up with me when i was in need of help. additional thanks goes to glowbal for the same matter^^ CLASSNAME LIST ============= KNOWN ISSUES ============ there are still a few issues that we know of but can not address at this time -the screens still have MP issues here and there, as well as the snake cam. -the server control tower has shadow lod issues. the screen clips through buildings -rotating surveillance camera no longer rotates but now has a damage model. REMARKS ======= i am well aware that BI will most likely release very similar if not the same objects in the beta and full game. This project is part of a larger project and is also practice for me to hopefully deliver more and greater mods to the community.   4. Current Version: 1.2 DESCRIPTION =========== ARP is simply designed to give mission makers more options to make missions more immersive. ARP adds 150+ items (more each update) that can be added to inventories as needed to add a last touch to missions. For example this could be used to add more common items to civilians so that, when searched, the player finds more common and realistic items on them. Instead of finding a compass, map and radio you might find a lighter, candy and a newspaper. Want to give your soldiers the last touch towards realism? Throw some extra socks, underwear and t shirts into your rucksack in case the mission takes longer. Don't forget your baby wipes, i know i used them in the field a lot when showers were not an option :P. Make sure you have an ID Card on you to get back onto base maybe? Or give an entire village a red color shemagh and give your target a white one to identify him. the possibilities are limited to your imagination, I'm just providing the tools. Again, ARP alone has no functions available so these are purely intended for sort of Role play at this time and only work in the inventory. When they are dropped on the ground they will look like small military bags. Maybe later down the road myself or somebody within the community will add functions, actions, or even entire modules that use this.   5. awesome man! looking forward to it. this is one of those game changing mods (to me at least) that will be loaded every time i launch from now on. really enjoying it and if you ever need help let me know, i'll be glad to contribute. i'm mainly a 3d artist but have done light config coding and animation. anyways, good luck with this!
  6. no worries man, def. well deserved pat on the back man. yeah was talking about satellite imagery. similar to drone feed, just a bit higher^^ i reckon that probably wont be possible given arma's engine limitations but it's all good, this is more than enough. one thing i did notice that would be helpful is some sort of TFAR tie in. i.e. display when units transmit and on what frequency maybe. was running an op that had about 6 dif. elements all on dif frequencies and of course an overarching frequency. would be great to be able to click on a unit and see what frequency he/ she has programmed. anyways, again, seriously great mod and will be following further development closely :)

  13. yeah cosmos engine looks sick, if i recall correctly and i may be wrong, it wasnt only performance but most people wouldn't be able to handle it mentally, imagine the amounts of new pants you would have to purchase weekly... just kid'n but really, we wanted it too guys...

  22. hey sorry we didnt manage to get this fixed for this past release, i know you been posting that over and over. i went in and fixed it 2 days or so ago so this next release will have that nasty shadow fixed :)
  23. yeah valve done messed up, anyways lets stay on topic. i would like to send out a request to you guys to go through the current build in as much detail as possible and find any bugs you may have missed to report. we are making great progress day by day. this weekends uplink might get pretty neat too :)
