Just to let you know, with exams coming up which will pretty much determine my chances of a good working life, ALL of my projects are put on hold and most likely not be worked on untill june of 2011 i will still poke my head onto the forums if you guys ever need to contact me for wahtever reason, but for now MIDF, NTA and any other projects im involved in, are on hold Hope to have something for you guys in the summer 'gards blinky -

reskins? i havnt seen mastiffs or panthers in arma2...so are they still reksins? they arent even "subvariants". also, where did they say they will "save arma"? ..nowhere! rather then flaming them why dont you go and make a mod and see how it feels when we say "who cares abotu this" and "your addons/mod is crap" what PR is doing is an amazing job, i really appreciate the work that has gone into this. if you dont, you dont. but at least have some respect for the people who take hours out of their lives so others can enjoy their work! -

on the AVLb subject, wouldnt the bridge be a vehicle? and vehicles driving on vehicles isnt exactly smooth :P or is it attachto commands between a vehicle and a structure? -
i know its a bit of a bump but need some help i got the NVG in game in a way in your gear they are called Lucie NVG which is what i want, however, even though the model path is correct, the model on his head is the standard NVG any tips?

fair point, but looking at the iraqi and afghan armies they do use modernish equipment rather then the soviet equipment they had before no matter how loyal the side is, rebels will get their hands on it in ireland ive seen pictures of the IRA wearing british camo and using FN-MAG gpmg's and L85's im pretty sure the brits didnt just hand that over

well whats their staus in the US army? will/could they be replaced by 2012-2014?

well, im not a big fan of the FAL in arma, although i love it IRL, plus my idea is that the year is around 2014 so (at least in arma2) the US is getting rid of the m16/m4 series for the scar, and the NTA is the perfect place to offload :D so the m16/203 may enter the grenadier slot the uniforms, the helmets i thought were PASGT ones..at least they look like them lol the vest is the interceptor...not sure but i read they are being swapped for newer ones? so the old one this guy has might fit as for vehicles im going with the older unarmoured hmmwv, but might add an armoured vehicle im working on for MIDF, would add a more unique vehicle. the RG-32LTV any suggestions regarding armoured and aircraft? along with the F-16..maybe a mig-29? as for rotorwing, tiger hap? maybe keep the mi-17 for transport

hey guys, i got a model from ofp and tried to update it to arma2 i changed the configs around and got the mlod file from the author as i read that this is needed to do so however, when i try to start it in the editor, the game complelety freezes up and crashes as seen in this vid i tried taking out the texture files so they wouldnt load as i thought this may be the problem, but same result i also tired arma1, i was a bit more lucky there, when i loaded it in the editor, it appeared a a very light blue texture with no visible doors etc, it was however, flyable so im really at a dead end. any ideas guys? EDIT: should have pointed out its the helicopter in the vid not the soldier :P

as said above it may be made like a m203, however the "ammo" would have a very short range as for animation, i dont know sorry ^^

another day another try another fail :P tried removing all the textures from the folder and it didnt work all proxys are now from a blackhawk arma1 sample model im sure theres nothing wrong with the config, so im pretty stumped now lol

i am, the faces are from the independent takis which means the NTA is on the indie side, which isnt a problem, gives mission makers the chance to make them corrupt :D

weapons arent final, may decide to use M4's rather then the SA-58 @ODEN cheers mate, i quite like it myslef :) since i am AWFUL at textures, unless someone wants to make DCU uniforms for the units, sla camo it is it works well in takistan oddly
