Question. I've changed the enemy paradrop helo from a Mil17 to Erics Hind, in the hope that the Hind might use it's armaments to attack on the ingress and egress, but this doesn't happen. Any thoughts, anyone?

This is certainly true, but probably within the limitations of our system. I'd love to have a web interface that can tweak all these settings, from default view distance to artillery barrage constraints. From adding an addon Tank into OPFOR spawned forces to fiddling with the ammo crate contents. I'm dreaming I know, partly because the server would need to be shut down as the files were rewritten by my web interface AND THEN restarted, but that's what I would love.

It's simple. Freetrack is cheaper, but Trackir is better.

LOL @ dropping MHQ in wrong town. I suppose we get different things from this game but the fact that it works for both of us is testament to the game and Xeno. At the moment, my guys are driving me to make the game less realistic. They insist on having a wreck chopper and changing the prize vehicles to high value assets like Ah64 and M1A1. To counter this, I've beefed up the OPFOR by having SAM equiped BMPs and T90s. It should be fun when I eventually get round to finish modding it. :)

Research has shown... Sprocket Idea want 30 Euros for it!! Atari dowload has it for $19, but wont sell it to european customer. Ebay has a few US version, used.

I'm assuming you're replying to my request for the old style MHQ/Ammo crate handling to be returned. I think the new method goes a bit too far towards the resource management side, whereas I want to be killing enemy. We clearly get different things out of this game, which is good. I'm adding tanks in, to be honest. I've also added Karaya1's xtra vehicles, because I want the enemy to have better AA firepower. I'm looking at using XM29's T12 Black Eagle for giggles. :) Also, we play on a private server - mine. We often have as few as 3 blokes playing, so ganging up on a single T72 is not a practical proposition. I can see how your newbie with a Jav would spoil the fun, but because of the above, it's welcome on my server! :) By the way, whose T90 did you used to use? We use Marijus's SA Green from his T90 pack.

I've got v1.5. The BRDM AA magazine change.. how long is it? I got bored of waiting after 10 secs or so. If I jumped out of the vehicle and got back in, it changed to the next magazine. -

Quick and dirty xfire capture. I think this looks just fine. It landed right on the mark. The package doesn't inherit any of the Herc's airspeed like it should, but other than that, it's good enough for me to keep it. It has the advantage that your drops will arrive MUCH sooner than if they came by Blackhawk purely because the Herc is way faster. Win! Arma 1.16 beta, USEC C-130 and Domination 3.61.

I'll implement it and report back. I ask because we run short of Javelin in the ammocrate. For the time being, I'll just increase the number available from x-weaponcargo. I don't have an account at DH, but I've been there and had a look around. I'll make an account today. Many thanks from my guys and myself. You're doing a fine job.

Xeno, two things I'd like to ask you. I'm changing the drop chopper to a fixed wing aircraft, namely a C-130. If the ammobox/humv/arty piece is underslung, it will look most odd. Is there anyway I can improve this? Also, I've been ased by my team mates to remove the feature where we have to load ammo boxes into the MHQ. Is there any way I can go back to the old way of effectively having an infinite number of ammo boxes available from the MHQ? Thanks, Tanky version 3.61 west ai

Do you mean that while you were flying the Puma with the MHQ underslung, the MHQ jumped up and hit the underside o the aircraft? If so, where you flying over a town at the time?

Ah yes. Not the first time I've been accused of not reading a post! The thing is, the way we use it, we have 1 MHQ for the north island and one for the south.

We used this in OFP, had some great fun. I remember it was awesome offroad and shooting Shumacher in the face was particularly satisfying. -

I was wondering if you could crack that one, but if your tool allows a shutdown and a start, then that's as good as we can expect. Can it do a restart of the server, ie a one click stop and start again instantly? -

Mmmm. Will be watching this one closely. How do you get around the file permissions lockout when deleting missions for a server that's running?
