Vilas and all addonmakers - great job! Downloaded and check WEST side (im moment checking rest). I suggest to ignore those lads. You are all the time creator and one of main designers of P85. You could do everything without help of new members. It's like OFP2 - they got the name, you got the soul! Only thing I want is to see you in this community all the time. NEVER leave us, cause you are one of the best experts ever modding our great game! I also suggest to use sounds from your WPs. BIS sounds maybe are not great, but they are also not shitty. Eg. M4 sounds quite good. And I preferred your sounds, too. G3s in P85 sounds horribly, L1A1/FN-FAL also. And remember: no one is ideal. But I'm gonna stand with you as concrete wall - you deserve it.

I got strange thing with your weapons: 1. I put normal soldier and got FPS 75 2. I rearm him with your weapons and FPS got down to 20-40 3. I put normal soldier again and FPS is still 20-40 Do you know this bug?

Well, seems that Host SOMETIMES can still pay, when other's computers freeze. We played on Selective Spawning and Night-Overcast. Freezed after some spawning of enemy.

I got trouble. I tried to play with my Clan, but after some time (and spawning) game... crashes? No error message, ArmA just freeze. Only way is to restart computer or ctrl + alt + del. You know maybe what causes this bug?

Its just simple retexturing. Textures ready and in proper folder. P3d model was binarized, so I just changed strings by opening it by notepad. Number of letters are same: friends_test--> private_army Dextures got same name and are in "data" folder. Config is ready. I cant find any mistakes in it. But, when I open game (still no error) select my unit and choose "Preview" ArmA crashes in one moment with error: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">Bad version 538976296 'private_army/us_soldier_at.p3d' I really dunno what causes this trouble. Its last step thjat divides me from my first reskin. Can you help me? Template is mission that its element or nealy whole mission you modify to create our own. It has got ready scripts or editor buildings to copy/paste/modify for your own requirements.

I want to train with my cult, but many of them dont have Queen's Gambit. Can I run your mission somehow anyway? I wasnt cheking it inside yet, but should it work?

Heh. There was another crash few seconds ago. Blink maybe is right. There were several gunfights in Bagango with SLA troops and Armour involved.

OK, I played. AND I AM DAMN HAPPY! I tried to this kind o game for OFP, using CHERNMod. Project stopped, cause I couldnt make scripts for multiplayer saving status. Now I see its possible! We got our own MMO in Armed Assault. Our community again proofed that in this game everything is possible! Well done lads! No! Awesome done lads! I will be playing for sure! But here I got small problem. Just few minutes ago I have lost a session with the server. THen I tried to reconect - nothing happens. I refreshed and found that there was 3/32 players. Refreshed again and serwer haven't shown up. You just stup it down, Am I right? When it will be back?

I got trouble. I got addons, but I cant see here and on your forums mirrors for mission. I tried to DL it from your official server After about 1000kB there is "Connection Lost". I eliminated plenty of addons to play that, so can you help me?

No, I just like this weapon very much and I am not happy that FFAA Team didn't make it, its just conversion from OFP.

SAS Troop, I may be wrong about this but I believe the reason for the "Russian Troops" being SLA is because they are just placeholders and new units will be integrated in the future. I believe this mentioned earlier in the thread but my memory is a bit fuzzy this morning. If you got time you may want to confirm this by doing a thread search. Again I could be wrong about this but for some reason that's what I'm thinking at the moment. As a betting man I'd say the same goes for Iraqi vehicles as well. There may not be plans for those but over time more content will be added. I do remember reading that. Â The mortars don't work for me either but I believe they haven't been integrated yet. I pretty sure I read this as well but you may want to check. I'll try to answer both of you at once. ACE is striving to cover USA/Russia/Iraqi conflicts from present time and back to 1985, although present time (or more exactly everything after year 2000, give or take a few years) has the highest priority and that is where all work regarding models, units and gear is put at the moment, and it'll possibly stay with that to keep the mod size down. There are several other mods covering the 1985 era anyway. New and fitting models for all gear is being worked on, and inconsistencies in gear (that some units have gear that was actual for another year, than what another unit is kitted with) is strived to be straightened out. The lack of Iraqi vehicles and other things are because the IWM mod hasn't been fully ported into ACE as of yet. And indeed - the old SLA units are only placeholders until models and reskins for the Russian forces are in place. Mortars are currently not implemented, so the mortar crews put into ACE aren't much to have at the moment. A system for mortars is being worked on though. I knew plenty of those things, anyway - please, dont call something is it isnt. Or something like that :P Will be AK-74, AK-47 or M16s changed? I even like BIS weapons, in exception of this ugly AK-74. -

Well, i wont write so much as I wanted before (i dont have time). Anyway - great mod lads. Ballistics and weapons are great. I had to refresh my Tales theory to calculate my distance from BMP-2 that I was aiming from LAW :P Only thing that pain me is: 1. Why US Army is equiped with M16A2? 2. Lack of Iraq vehicles (New Iraq Army HMMWV etc.) 3. Why SLA is called "Russian Army" Rest is great, anyway - is mortart working? For me not. -
