    Game 2 is dead?

I was referring to campaign mission/s. Watch the video and listen @3.06. Starting with the 1st OFP campaign, I've all ways wanted this type of gaming to be available for group/clan play. Seems my 7yr old wish is finally coming true in ArmA2 also.

Failed to create surface texture ...

It is that 1GB memory VC. At the time when ArmA was cured of large memory issue, there were no 1GB cards (or just getting released). You should be able to play using the windowed option with all 4gig of your memory. If/when another patch comes out, it would most likely get fixed. I waited for 6+ months to see the 1.14 fix the same problem for my pc. Yes, Asus Remapping is a nice bios option.
  4. I do not see the - typo? C:\ArmA\arma_server.exe -config=server.cfg -cfg=arma.cfg -profiles=profiles -port=2302 -netlog
  5. Are you using -config=server.cfg in the parameter line? http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=63934 http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/server.cfg

    Warfare Cooperative (WACO) v1.1.1

I've noticed over the past 2 years, on fresh server starts from a reboot, that most missions will keep dead corpse... seems for ever. If I restart the 1st mission, or pick another, they fade away properly. I use FireDaemon Trinity to run the server as a service on Vista, which shouldn't matter.
  8. I believe Suma has stated somewhere...the ONLY fix for the large memory ATI cards, was to run ArmA in windowed mode. Does that not work for you?

    Game 2 is dead?

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/operationflashpoint2/video.html?sid=6196274&tag=text-related-content;4 @3:06 is where it starts, I was referring to campaign play. I'm glad to hear ArmA2 will have multiplay campaign. Anyone know how many?

Thanks for the info. OFP2 mentions 4 player pc and 2 on the consoles.

    Game 2 is dead?

I liked the sound of multi play campaign coming with OFP2, I hope ArmA2 looks into it.

    Warfare Cooperative (WACO) v1.1.1

I finally had a few hours to play this mission and it was very nice. The AI helo's seem to work properly.....I was simply going around in a M1A1 taking towns, after about 1.5 hrs, the AI's wiped the enemy base out. I can now try different settings to make it last much longer, but it made for a great quick game using the extra funds. The adjustable options help alot when your gaming time is limited. Is there any chance of this being made for the full Island? Thanks again for the no addon version.
  15. Are you using a driver cleaner/sweeper program to insure the old video drivers have been cleaned out? Also, have you tried without the Creative Xfi-XtremeGamer, try with the onboard temporarily. Have you installed Vista SP1? BSOD's are a thing of the past for me, thanks to the 17*.** drivers.
  16. Language barrier? I'm pleased your Vista64 is playing Arma as it should be.
  17. MigLancer, Have you installed Vista SP1? If not, there has been tons of KB article fixes released over the past 1.5 years. The SP includes them. I had to install every KB fix as they were released, and still new ones coming out. I let my Vista auto update. btw, does ArmA play using only 2 gig memory? Your situation bugs me.
  18. 64 bit? No. It will run as a 32bit app, along with other programs you may have. Open task manager/processes. Anything that 64bit systems must run in 32, will show a *32 besides it's exe name. Have you tried patching up to 1.14? Starting at 1.11, I was able to use all 4gig of my memory again. Weird part was nvidia drivers improved over time, ArmA 1.08 and 16*.** drivers allowed 4gig.....but no SLI. It was a Nvidia/Vista64 issue). Then SLI worked with 17*.**drivers. and ArmA 1.08 but guess what didn't work? I had to disable 2 gig memory or I got a blackened menu in ArmA.. It was alot of trial & errors but it's working great for me now. I still use 175.19 Asus drivers due to some key features with the video card apps. i.e SmartDoctor. Edit, I have not had to use -maxmem=512 since ArmA 1.14 came out.

Micro AI on 2nd CPU ?

If you want to copy the info you currently have, and no experience in laptops, you should take it to a reputable co.

Micro AI on 2nd CPU ?

I'm really curious how ArmA2 will perform on my 2x2@3Ghz. These cpu's are capable of running 4x4 (8 cores), except no one has made a motherboard for the public consumer, yet. Either way, it will be fun testing a server and the game running together. ArmA does great for me, so utilizing 2-4 cores should be sweet.

    Warfare Cooperative (WACO) v1.1.1

The main reason I would like to have a no-addon version, if BI were to release a patch for ArmA, some or a lot of those addons may not work. We never know, but it happens. Thanks Doomguy aka Falconer

We are suppose to leave the questions on the recordings so they can play them back during the show. I would like to know about MFCTI. Is it still in progress? Coop? Thanks
  25. It's gotta be driver related, or the options within your by-lingual keyboard setup. Go to Control panel, open keyboard, then select the Hardware tab then properties. See if you can uninstall it, or Update the driver/s. Mine shows a Microsoft driver from 6/21/2006. File Version 6.0.300016386 (vista_rtm.061101-2205) This came from the original Vista 64 Ultimate full install from Feb/07. I'm using an older Logitech, and all keys work properly.
