AFAIK that's the photo of fuel convoy destroyed by Taliban (trucks were hired by ISAF).

What? One of Ukrainian ministry of internal affairs key figures (mr. Gerashenko) would not agree with you. Also that jihadist who was arrested in Kuwait and pointed on Ukraine as source of weapons for IS wouldn't do it too.
-
Ehh... Qatar? Saudi Arabia? Ukraine? KOSOVO??? :D :D :D
-
To be correct, I'd like to know more about Germany, as most possible source for another car.

Don't want to create new thread, so I'd ask here: how about taxes and insurance for used cars of early 90's generation in EU? From what I remember, they were very high for sake of motivating people to give away old cars and buy new, more 'ecology friendly' ones. So the prices for such cars like Audi C4 or C5 were very cheap. But today I've looked for current price levels and... found that such cars like Audi 100 or A6 (C4) have almost the same prices as here, in Russia. And sport models like Audi S6 C4 are even more expensive! Many people sell them for price of fresh new A4 (despite age). So were your taxes lowered or people are upset with modern cars and old good ones became more popular and thus more expensive? P.S. I'm a fan of Audi C4 :)

Not sure if it hadn't been asked earlier but does anybody know the fate of Taviana island for OFP?

Here's how rescue group from damaged helo got help from Syrian troops, who covered them with suppressive fire and prevented the rebels to come closer to Russians. "A short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack,"© Erdogan, after Turkish F-4 been shot in Syrian airspace, 2012.
-
AFAIK this helo had been already damaged and abandoned. And after this rebels fired TOW at it.
-
Do you think serious democratic reforms in clan-based society can bring anything good?
-
Maybe this will help you also.
-
Even with moderate speed of 500 km/h it would take about 15 seconds to pass that piece of airspace. The whole piece. I don't understand how Su-24 could spend 5 minutes to cross 2.3 km-long straight line (if CNN track is correct).
-
I'd correct myself: what if IS positions in Syria were just close to Turkish border? So it's quite possible that some warplane may enter Turkish airspace a bit while performing combat sorties.
-
You realy think they were able to transmit 10 warnings while Su-24, being a supersonic bomber, had been flying those couple of kilometers, do you?
-
https://twitter.com/CNNTURK_ENG/status/669098577524822016 Tracking of Su-24 flight. The length of its flight in Turkish territory is about 2 km - some seconds of flight. So... did Turks really manage to ask several times to leave their airspace during this seconds?
-
What if those IS positions are made just across the border? And on the other side, French, US planes violate Syrian airspace while striking IS positions, and...? Does anybody care? I think when it comes to fighting IS, there should not be any fuss about airspace violation. Because that's not some excercises or provocations.

Seems you are right. Let's wait for NATO statement about it.

No way because: -too complicated controls for touch screen -too small screen -too much resources needed for good performance (yes, OFP still lags on modern desktop PCs in many situations)

I don't know any other situation when country-agressor's banks give loans to the ventures in country-victim. Moreover I don't know any case when a country-agressor returned hundreds of tanks, APCs, trucks and other military hardware after start of agression (I say about all those stuff returned from Crimea). It's just absurd.
-
Nobody understands how the moans about Russian agression (BTW still without valid proof of 'thousands of Russian troops invaded Ukraine') coexist with Russian and Ukrainian embassies working as usually, Ukraine buying Russian electricity (yes, large part of energy coming to Crimea from Ukraine is in fact Russian one, transferred via Ukrainian power lines) and asking for gas discounts, Ukrainian ministers arguing about food embargo from Russia (not so far ago Russian govt banned all the food from Ukraine), Ukrainian Roschen food company still owning some Russian candy factories (which work as usual), Russian banks (Sberbank, VTB, Alpha-bank) working in Ukraine without any troubles etc. The only thing it looks like is schizophrenia of all the Ukrainian establishment who suffer from delirium attacks and see some mysterious Russian hordes here and there. But after they get proper medical treatment, they start behaving in civilised way (have trade, business relations etc.).
-
Seems that the situation with guns in EU becomes very sorrowful... Here people struggle for enlarging the list of weapons permitted for sale in civil market, so they could buy all kinds of pistols (not only some rubber guns or 9x17), own legally all kinds of mags (now only 10 rnd may be legally owned) etc. Banning all the weapons and collecting them is just a bullshit, because nothing can stop any thugs from getting some illegal arms.
-
It's joint group of Right sector and Jamilev's tatar supporters, they had been performing block of roads to Crimea for months already. And it is not the first time they blow power lines.
