Who are the Chenchen and why do they involve themselves in a large amount of world conflicts?
spooky lynx replied to silentghoust's topic in OFFTOPIC
For centuries the leading way of their life was 'raid economy' - gang raids on nearby villages, robbing of caravans etc. Also note that after 1991 a generation that saw only wars (first civil war, then first war with Russian army, then another period of clan clashes, then second war) had been grown. -
Maybe it's not a failure but some way of distributing weapons to needed guys. Arming jihadists directly will bring too much questions across the world. Photos of McCain with them were quite enough, open arming would be too much.
-
Meanwhile a group of rebels belonging to FSA surrendered to Jabhat al Nusra just after crossing the Turkish-Syrian border. Nice way of arming jihadists, I'd say. Not mentioning such nice and lawful things like hosting and training armed rebels.

AFAIK Tu-160's line will be restarted, although there would be produced an upgraded version. But still upgrade comes mostly to avionics and weapon systems. Airframes will be the same. So if there's need to replace aged airframes, best solution is to keep line working. Especially with current R&D costs *cough*F-35*cough*

If the platform is quite good to serve well for near the century, why not to resume the production?
-
This one is quite good.

What do they smoke, I wonder...

Excuse me but this drawing is based on one famous photo that shows not abstract symbol but the real kid. So for me it was clear mockery of kid's death. And for me it is beyond human sanity.
-
I would like to believe that it is only your opinion but not prevailing point of view among European society.
-
So mockery on real dead boy (not on some religion character that is believed to exist) is freedom of speech?
-
I wonder, those who cried "Je suis Charlie", what will they say now? Do they still support such... ehm... freedom?
-
Guys, who does find this acceptable in human society?
-
Just like it was shocked when media cried about Kuwaiti infants killed by Iraqi soldiers, than WMD of Hussein ready to be used, than 'innocent peaceful protesters' shot by regime troops in Libya and Syria, BS about Serbs' crimes in Kosovo, Malaysian Air Boeing shot down by separatists in Donbass etc. Usual way of manipulating of public opinion.

Greedy person pays twice.

Europe will just get back to its usual state that was for centuries. Racism, slavery, overpopulation on small territory, constant wars for resources, markets and space. The peace and prosperity of post-WW2 years was rather exception from usual way of life in Europe. To be honest less rights for females in islam means less obligations and much more of them to males. For example it is exclusively male's obligation to find enough money for family. If his wife starts working to earn money (not for fun like my aunt) - everybody will treat him as poor loser.

Maybe she thinks about materials that can be posted and ruin her life then. Or maybe she remembers about Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Some BDSM practice?

Civil war there (between secular and islamist groups) ended not so long ago. And many of OTO (united Tadjik opposition) activists were given with seats in state agencies. So they can resume their deeds. There' s already a division of them. Drinking without any snacks is not a good idea...

Reminds some WW1-period naval camos. Didn't know it was used for planes much later though.

Why would both demonstrate against young healthy fit males? From what I've read sex tours to Egypt, Turkey and other Middle East countries are very popular among European females, and one Russian blogger (woman married on Egyptian, lives there) wrote last week that she understands why European females welcome refugees - many of European male tourists visiting local resorts are gays, there are just crowds of them arriving. So...

Okkupert: Norwegian TV series about a Russian invasion
spooky lynx replied to pwner's topic in OFFTOPIC
Well, I don't know other country in which far right movement has arms up to PRGs and heavy MGs mounted on jeeps without any prosecution. And lots of servicemen of such detachments as Azov etc. pose with nazi flags and make sieg-heil greetings. Oh and maybe you can name other country that registers political party which is direct descent of WW2 nazi collaborators, can you? It was far from most destroyed, at first. Many Russians died because they were used as 'live human shields' by Dudayev's thugs, at second. Separatists had many artillery pieces like 120-mm mortars and howitzers (both towed and self-propelled) and tanks and used them during fight for Grozny. So it is impossible to know exactly whose projectile destroyed this or that house. Both sides used heavy weapons extensively. Oh and that casualties at least halted slave trade, genocide and other nasty things widely happened during 1991-1994 in Chechnya. -

For thousands of saved lives in nearby regions and for those who performed operation Oluja - must be quite good. Oh and main insurgency events are happening in Ingushetia and Dagestan for several years already. Chechnya is much safer place comparing with its western and eastern neighbors. If some country is often mentioned as agressor in mass media - it will be perceived as agressor by many 'average Joes' (don't know what's Norvegian equivalent). And that 'average Joes' later will give their votes or support the action against a country labeled as agressor. Just look at recent events in Libya - during early time of military campaign I've seen here plenty of words supporting it, "bloody dictatorship, needs democracy, poor opposition, unarmed protesters, regime soldiers making mass rapes and other BS"; now, when Europeans face hordes of former Libyan locals and those who were stopped by Libyan regime on the way to EU - they moan about mistake. So I'm not happy to see another event in propaganda against my country. Propaganda that prepares European public opinion to idea of another Drang nach Ost. -

Already tried this. Didn't helped much so we had to include Chechnya into Empire and integrate it fully into it. -
Sure because they destabilise the plan of creation of huge turmoil in Europe and Middle east and, as a result, migration of capitals and businesses to US (and saving US economy from toughest crisis).

Historically many lands are not %countryname%. But I had good chance to watch what happened during de-facto independence of Chechnya. I bet you wouldn't want to live nearby in that time. BTW people were kidnapped by gangs of 'freedom fighters' even from my city. So thanks, no imarat Caucasus anymore.
