YES! thats right! Remove through the "Team Status" action menu. Put a end to those miserable AI you own that get stuck, or Remove the "Where are you" relentless AI.  Team status dialog modified to fit Normandy map parameters. -TEAM STATUS allows you to join other join other groups and manage AI if you become a leader in that group.  In WW2Warfare commands from the chosen commander whether AI or a PVP overide your orders if you join another AI controlled or player controlled team.  Team status allows you to view status of others including damage, health, ammo, etc. -You can join other units and become part of their mission at any time through the "Team Status" action menu. -Supply & Salvage trucks have fuel, ammo, & repair functions so they also have unlimited fuel for their own use so they shouldn't get stuck so often. -Opel blitz & WC51 dodge can repair, refuel and provide ammo and spawn various weapons when you are close to them. -Kublewagon and Jeep funtion as MHQ respectively and despawn randomly under AI command, this creates an unpredictable atmosphere where base defense is mandatory.  Also MHQ's are hard to spot for enemy and friendlys =) -AIRCRAFT - Some can hitch and tow gliders, Gliders can hitch(pickup) HQ vehicles and cars  - Hitching of gliders is somewhat buggy, gliders will appear above ground when they are hitched. -TRUCKS - They can tow (pickup) static weapons, other cars & moveable guns and tow them. -LANDING CRAFT - Can be spawned via light vehicle spawn placed by water, so be careful on how you place it ( currently doesnt work...working on it). -LANDING CRAFT - Can hitch (pickup) tanks, cars, HQ, static & moveable weapons. -Bases commanders get more initial funds. -Increased construction distance to spread base apart and prevent one team from winning the game with a solo bomber. -ARTILLERY - FLAK36 for the Axis, M101 Howitzer for the Allies - 1,000 m min./  14,000 m max distance. -Other known issues.  When purchasing Equipment or AI, the words "repair", "refuel","ammo", etc appear in que although purchases do work.   2. Time to bring Real Virtuality game engine's largest custom map to life with the next iteration of World War II for ArmA3 in the form of The 31st Normandy Mod. The map will feature all new terrain with a higher resolution satellite and height map than the previous release. It will also contain mostly custom objects with a twist and foliage not used from BIS's library. The mod will include all new infantry, weapons, armor, aircraft, and water born vessels. The mod contains a large amount of weapon systems the avid World War II savy fanatic would enjoy. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the pics, videos, and posts to come. And oh yeah, if you're a great voice actor English, German, or French and feel like swearing up a storm, yelling, screaming, laughing, crying some...or what ev's pm. * disclaimer: patience is a virtue! ** This is not the only WW2 mod in the works, nor a contest to the others. Answers to one of the most popular questions from the past: No we don't officially work with other mods because we all have our own separate interests in something we share a common interest in.   4. Glad you didn't have to buy Kleenex! I do work on it often plugging away at all the details. It's a lot!
  5. Solved... open up all older .p3d's that haven't been saved in a while, save them. Go into your Arma 3 tools/binarize folder, right click on binarize.exe and click on the compatibility tab and check run as an administrator. Rerun addonbuilder or pboproject and it will give you all your errors. In my case it was just some older p3d's and some outdated pixel shaders in some of my rvmats. Everything works fine now.

  11. They say "Good lawyers know the law. Great lawyers know the judge." Apparently some lawyer thought it might be worth the effort to take me to task. Not worth the risk or the hassle, especially when it's a quick fix.

However silly it may seem you can be brought before a foreign court so long as the country you've broken a law in has an agreement with the United States which it does and the offense is as serious as violating the sovereignty of a nation post war/post Nazi ism. Not so silly. Not worth it, even remotely. I recall the instance. The German law clearly states the symbol(s) may not be domestically distributed via any format of media as cited by a lawyer representing an Internet Cafe where certain members were offended by viewing a swastika on the tail of a Ju-52 I distributed as the member flew it in third person. That includes any data from any computer disk or transmitted via the net. The threat came after I replied saying go ahead and file suit and the response was they were going to issue a subpoena within a timeframe to substantiate how many PC's relative to Germany the material was distributed to or downloads. I asked my lawyer at that point. And he advised me to quickly update the files to remove any swastikas. Once I replied and was in compliance to the German law the complaint was dropped. Now who's to say what others do with that or where they're from and how the law applies to them. If they're able to get away with that, then that's relative to them. Not me. I asked the German lawyer what about people that March in the street there waving Nazi flags or symbols if they want during protests and he said the constitution protects them. You just can't distribute them. So not worth risking hanging out in Germany 3 years behind metal bars in my opinion. However silly that might seem.
  13. Wermacht, Iron cross yes. It'll be different for Kreigsmarine and Luftwaffe. Just depends on the branch or what you spawn. Squads got their tags and stuff which in theory could be placed on a uni or vehicle. Or could be based on historical units what appears on a unit with exceptions to banned items.
  14. When you're able to select them pre-spawn from a menu yes. After that, there won't be any labels visible.
  15. No worries. It's relevant to why we're not using swastikas.
  16. Each player only sees what they have one their drive. So if Joe has happy face on his tank, no matter what Frank has, Joe only sees the happy face.
  17. Battleye checks to see if the signature of each file matches. For example if someone tried to join a server with battleye enabled, if the model(s) in question used a different texture for example one with a swastika and one without , battleye would detect the alteration and kick the player that had an altered file from the one stored on the server.
  18. Just one version. If we did the only way it would work together is if battleye was disabled.
  19. The man is right! Additionally they've got a ton of people working for those companies getting paid whereas I'm doing this for free with a small group of people which doesn't include lawyer's.
  20. No swastikas. I don't know about the camps yet. You should also consider beyond our release. Go crazy with it. Whatever you do privately with your own group on a private server, that's all on you.
  21. Well I don't think it's as simple as a poll. If that we're the case people would vote for swastikas and we found out in a prior release the hard way all of the legal ramifications associated with that initial decision. We received cease and desist orders from the EU. I'm not even sure if displaying any type of camp associated with The Nazi party is even legal. Also gotta consider the masses. The mod for ArmA2 had a lot of downloads, not just on Armaholic.

  23. There were tons of internment camps. I suppose they can be added barring any community objections. Something to be discussed considering the sensitivity of the topic.
