  1. hi in CTI when i want to reposition a static weapon,like a TOW, i am able to disassemble the weapon ,but dont know how to piece the parts back together. does anyone know how to do it? thank you

    Aiming deadzone

    Hi, I found the aiming deadzone in this game behaves differently than in ArmA 2,like outside the deadzone the mouse sensitivity is a lot slower than inside it. Is there any way to make this feature behave just like in ArmA 2,where the mouse sensitivity is constant all the time? Thank you.

  5. barely. if its arma 2 only not including its expansion i guess the CPU might do. i cant tell if 2gb ram is enough the GPU definitely needs to be upgraded the easiest way would be open up the case and take a look at the sticker of the power supply unit
  6. to upgrade to gtx 580 1st you will need to have a power supply unit of 600w,or any that has a 12V current rating of 42 Amps. that is according to the EVGA website.

    i remember the disappearance of vegetation at a distance has kind of something to do with the optimisation of game performance. i do agree in takistan when a bullet hit the bit of dirt in front of u,there doesnt seem to be any dust being kicked up.

    ive been reading stories about an april release for ivy bridge,along with those new intel chipsets. geraldus is right, piledriver could be an eye-opener,who knows lol. over at bit-tech.net they did an arma2 benchmark on bulldozer,maybe u can use it as a precursor of the kind of performance to be expected in arma3,although nothing is certain.

    encountered a slight problem with the regular 1.5 version. the mission will only spawn the players on the very bottom left corner of the map,with 5 small bunkers,3 russian caches and a M2 stryker. the stryker cannot function as a HQ. my server is running CO with no mods nor beta patches. same for the players the 1.0 ones work fine though.
  10. at least what graphics card must i get in order to play CO at 1920x1080 100% 3d res ,with other settings at normal,no AA nor PP effects,with an average fps like 30? thank you. PC specs right now: amd 720 3.3ghz,2GB ram,7950GT 256mb,corsair 550w PSU,win 7 my HD4870 just fried,only looking to spend as little as possible for replacement.
  11. this mission is very awesome,my frds and i had a great time playing it,thank you code34 for your hard work! i got a question regarding a completion of an objective though. any tips on the objective where we are required to eliminate an enemy leader to stop the war,ie the last objective? me and my frds had 2 attempts on it in the past nights but without success. we had been killing everything in the target zone but the enemy would keep calling in reinforcements,which seemed never to have an end to it. we were playing the capraia one with ACE enabled. thanks
  12. if you are talking about the artifact problem,then a temporary fix is doing -flush in game. reverting catalyst driver back to 10.4/10.10, lower video memory settings and view distance in game might work,but not guaranteed. the solution that helped me solve the problem is upgrading the OS to windows 7.
  13. i had the same problem as yours,eyab. my graphics card runs much hotter than yours as it has only the stock cooling. heat problem could be a factor here,but i managed to solve the issue by upgrading the OS to win7 ultimate 32bit. for some reason it eliminated the artifacts problem,well,for me at least. my rig is more or less than same ,despite having only 2GB ram and a triple core CPU

    about the white noise. i sometimes hear it when there is no action going on in game, other than that its barely noticeable. i thought that noise was radio static which is meant to be part of the mod haha

    while the mission idea is great,i find the shooting accuracy of enemy AI to be too godlike. i was operating a tank and encountered a group of foot patrol,the shots of the AI are so accurate that they can just aim constantly at the little windows of say, a gunner seat, and fire a few rounds then i am dead. this also happened when im in the driver seat. my mate was flying a blackhawk , moving away from a group of enemy AI infantry, and got killed within a few shots through the bottom part of the cockpit. these situations dont really happen to me on other missions ,unless im playing on expert difficulty perhaps. but then i was only playing the mission on normal AI skill level,with regular difficulty. cant imagine how good will the AI be on elite level.

    ive found a bug but not sure how to extract the RPT script errors as there wasnt any messages popping up when i had the bug. it appears that some enemy infantry are invincible,literally dont take damage at all. when i use SA-58 ACOG to engage an enemy who was using lee-enfield,which i believe the class is bonesetter,after like 4 clips of ammo he was still alive and kept shooting my squad members. i'll have another go at the mission to see if it happens to another rifles

    i have the same sort of problem with this mission,but on version 1.7b. every time after choosing a class slot,the game would proceed to receiving screen,which is a black screen with the word "receiving..." at the centre, then it just stops there. sometimes i could hear some VoN,but nothing was displaying in the screen it happens on every server that loads with 1.7b,but on 1.3 my game works fine,apart from some out of memory crashes. edit:thought i should post my rig here: amd PII 720 @ 3.3Ghz,2G ram,ATi HD4870 graphics card,WinXP SP3 32bit,and vanilla A2:OA on steam

  22. 70313 with exthread=3 does the best for me,running the chernogorsk benchmark mission. FPS average min. increased by 2 ,to 24,other values have increased by 1-2 fps too. rig:amd x3 720 @ 2.8Ghz , 2GB ram, ATi HD4870 512mb ,WinXP 32bit SP3 settings: reso 1280x800 w/ 100% 3d fill rate,all settings at Normal except shadows high,Postprocessing Off.

  24. me nazul prior to 1.04 this receiving bug didnt happen to me,but today when i played for like 45 mins of arma2,it happened 3-4 times edit: i was playing steam version of arma2
