Are you going to upgrade because of ARMA 3?

Upgrading my current rig (c2d 7400@2800MHz, Gigabyte Radeon HD4850, 6GB RAM 800MHz, some Corsair 450W PSU, SATA HDD) means upgrading everything (except peripherals) which means spending ~500 euro for playing one game (I don't play other games). So first the demo / beta / whatever of Arma3 has to convince me that it's worth to do so. -

Great! I live there (8km from Wola Gułowska) - it will be nice to see my (almost) home side. If you need photos (especially the church or old hauses - there are plenty of them IIR) from there - drop me PM - I will be there in May -
Precise occlusion culling isn't just pure optimization. Don't know the implementation, so my point might not be valid here, AFAIK it's good behavior to group few objects in one buffer (let's say the same trees). Then even if at least one tree from that group is visible then all are drawn. Sometimes it's just cheaper to draw whole group than compute precise visibility for each object (instead of group) especially if few objects' data (for example coordinates) takes less than minimal size of buffer (don't know the exact name - I mean the size of bunch of data which is sent to GPU in one-shot).

Why so sure? Most of my friends (and me) bought Arma(s) w/o preordering it. And how BIS would know if I preordered the game not via sprocket? [edit] Other thing (I don't know how many there are similar to me in this case, probably not too many): I would like to attend in Community Alpha because this is the best way to make its shape how I want (I was quite active CIT user). Beta and 1.0 realease it will be just bugfixing. But on the other hand I'm not 100% sure if I'll be Arma3 player - if it won't be 2 times better than Arma2 (in my own rating) then I'm just out - don't see a point in upgrading (~500 Euro) very well working PC just to play 1 very good game. -

IMO there should be notification about the age restriction (and maybe then after 5 seconds do the redirection) because people get confused being redirected to completely different page.
