    I think it may be the setting in 2035 and the Iran thing. For me ARMA (OFP) has always been about the cold war and post cold war settings e.g Russia and eastern bloc states

Please bear with me as this is a WIP and due to the large amount of content will take time, consequently I will add new lists to this post later.     Arma 3 Beta patch

    I must say that todays new patch for the BETA is fantastic, can't wait for the full release of the game, does anyone know when this is as I heard it was September
  7. UPDATE: I played the multiplayer game...........................................people were shooting at me and ruined my holiday :(. Multiplayer runs smooth though, and runs better than on any previous game. ---------- Post added at 15:57 ---------- Previous post was at 15:54 ---------- I still feel confident the plane bounced clear and then exploded!

    More aircraft in ArmA 3

    Apparently there will be planes released for BLUFOR and OPFOR which are rumored to be the L139 so as to follow suit in the fact that everyone has the same equipment to make war easier for the arms manufacturers in 2035.

  11. I'm not new, i've played the series from OFP to now and must say i'm annoyed. The bonus is the game looks fantastic and the inclusion of features such as the new physics engine and load-outs make it a excellent step forwards. What i'm annoyed about is as most people the lack of ingame content compared to the previous series, the lack of unique units (everyone seems to have the same gear) and the fact that the campaign isn't going to be out for another month. Whoever was in charge of providing in game content must have been working part time and even then had the shits and called in sick. This combined with Rome 2 have made this week the most disappointing since I bought Aliens: Colonial Marines back in February. I'd be a bit more forgivable but I am still having lag issues when viewing down scope and considering we gave you our money before the game was finished! As someone said before if you could give me Arma2/OA with this engine then I would be a happy chappy. My verdict at present is 5/10 which i hope is set to improve

  14. I like the idea of a T55 with a ZSU-23 on top. I was going to suggest using a ZSU-57-2 as I think fdf have one but the T55 with ZSU sounds awesome and I like the idea that they could have made it themselves. Have you also thought about some ZIL trucks and maybe a single engine prop plane for COIN ops? Another idea is a OT-64 SKOT if someone has one. These are just ideas however and I like that the NAF sticks with limited resources such as using mainly soviet heavy weapons and western small arms and personal equipment.
  15. Cheers for the quick reply, i'll download the ACR addon as a short term. The addon is by far my favourite and was glad when you announced it. I've played the entire series from the start and loved your work on the OFP stuff. Some things I had queries about were: The C130 texture is rather green The T55 is harder to destroy than a M1A2, if there a plan to reduce this or are you also planning on doing a Nogovan version of the BIS T55 from OA? Once again fantastic work and this along with PCDF is my favourite mod :) Nick

  17. downloaded from armaholic, dropbox all version several times. Maybe there is a conflict :(
  18. Hi I downloaded the ACE version then the non ACE part as i don't use ACE. For some reason there is no FN FALO for the Auto Rifleman and when i load the latest version i get this message: No Entry 'Bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/USBasicBag.side'. Anyone else get this or know what i'm doing wrong?
  19. Version 1.0, it has the soldier in the class system but say the weapon is missing in the config. There also is a pbo for marines but no marines.

    Hmmm, i get an error regarding missing images an it crashes my computer?
  22. Does anyone else have problems with this. Never noticed it until now but when I was playing I noticed that opposing soldiers were running straight past each other! It was a tiny bit laggy so could this be the computer struggling to keep the AI working properly?

    That's a shame, I think my graphics card must be dying then as i have my graphics set to medium and only 100-150 units fighting, used to have full graphics and massive battles :(
  24. ah so it wasn't just me then, was wondering as my rear audio jack is pathetic and for some reason gives my headphones a very low sound. Sounds good, looking forward to seeing the results.
  25. Once again i'd like to say great mod. One thing that i have found though is the G3 sound is pretty quiet for a battle rifle. Maybe you could use the sound of the FN-FAL?
