Change Opacity of Enemy Indicators?

I looked in the config for something but could not see if there was an option for making them more visible -
I thought ArmA had this - where when shooting a shot that hits will issue a hit indication sound. This feedback helps with hit recognition. Does ArmA 2 have this feature? during my games I did not notice this and I sort of miss it.

Hi the enemy indicators are very faint and I would like to boost the visibility of them. Right now they are the standard Faint Red Dots over the enemy forces. But What I would like to do is one of two thing or both if possible. #1 Change the opacity of the indicators so they are much more visible #2 Permanently see where the enemy is one the map... AKA OFP DR's Recruit compass indicator that shows enemy positions. This is total Noob I know but I just have an interest to see if it can be done since I have searched and found nothing. This will make the game unfair but for the casual gamer that just wants to have fun it would be greatly appreciated.

He's asking why the engine calculates every bullet and AI in the Game as well as has a vast MAP to contend with. He's confused as why this takes a good processor to run it with good FPS -
I actually just got a chance to play the Xbox version with a friend in Multiplayer. OFP Rocks. Come on you can't tell me if you guys actually played it.... Because its great. Just enough complexity for the Xbox crowd. What a great game.

Actually I would like a MOD in all seriousness makes the AI in ArmA II a little more forgiving like OFP DR. I have had a lot of fun with it. I really love the interface and is well thought out. But anyone know of a AI toner downer tell me.

Its very playable but the machine gets very hot and the battery only lasts about 45 min at most. Also the maping of the ArmA 2 Keyboard is almost impossible... the lack of a real mouse is a killer. MBP 15" 2.53 Ghz,9600 Graphics.

He is correct. This is my only problem with the game.... the enemy has an unfair sighting and reaction time. Oh wait hot-key support sort of lacking as well -

Can the AI see through grass? Some testing.

The AI can and does see through low grass where you cannot. This needs to be looked at I think the grass values should be closer to Bushes when you are prone.... where you are very difficult to see. AS it would be in real life. Not the way it is now where the grass is Just graphic Bling and really is not there to the AI. Also the AI can spot you from very far distances.... Distances that make the AI look like dots if you try to shoot them. I can be crawling through the woods come out on the lip of a cliff prone and still get spotted. Hey I'm all for a tough game but Recruit mode should be looked at to solve this.... Make it unrealistic. ITS RECRUIT mode. Take out the Being wounded part. Marker DOTS should be more visible than they are now. Make it a true Recruit mode so the rest of us can enjoy the game even more. Yes it would be wussy mode but it would be much better for any new player allowing them to enjoy ArmA 2 even more. -
Is there a way to let the bots squadlead?

Set your difficultly to Recruit . That way it will be much easier for you to see the enemy. Also I have died on some misssions and had the CPU turn into the squad leader then I could follow them. I think I did this in the editor.
