So true! If you can't include it without bugs, please don't include it at all. Although this specific issue had been fixed with OA for the BTR-60, but not for the BTR-90 :rolleyes: Ah, well ... A2 the EOL product.

Alter the M270 and BM21 artillery range

Greetings, I would like to alter the range of the M270 and the BM-21 Grad configwise to make it usable on smaller maps like Utes, Proving Grounds and The Desert via Artillery Module. Sadly, this thread didn't really help me. So far I was able to alter the turret configuration for the artillery computer. However this doesn't effect the AI when using the artillery module. The AI still needs a very long distance to the target which is simply not possible on small maps. By now I think it's somehow config-related but I really don't have any clue what to alter anymore to change it. Here's the code for the changes of the turret configuration / artillery computer. In case it hasn't been mentioned but the MP mode needs a mission preview function. Pretty much like the overview.html but for MP mode. Basicly its already working in A2, but not on dedicated servers. http://dev-heaven.net/issues/15090 It's a pain for players who don't know the missions on the server to browse and select an appropriate one.

+1 NoRailgunner I fapped on a lot of features that were announced for A2 and I was very disappointed finding out that a lot of them wasn't compatible or broken in MP mode. Some really useful minor features were never completed and some old bugs from the Cold War Crisis still survived to the latest versions of A2/AO. I agree with everyone that those features sound awesome, but well ... until now they're nothing but marketing stuff. Anyone remember working elevators that were announced for ArmA I? :D -
Which is good :) I would like to have a clean, clinically pure game environment without pollution, dirt and germs :D Let's call it A3 - Eco Mode.

Believe me when I say that you don't want to see a beta of such a game. I had to chance to use the A2 beta and I still have nightmares. -

Hi, you are using my config fix for CAA1 which requires the full mod as the users posted as well. Somehow you missing a file. -
I for once hope that the old side-concept of west, east, resistance and civilian is past. It would be far more interesting only to have the factions and to set up alliances between the factions + allowing to have a pre set of faction alliances. This could be very interesting for an enhanced diplomacy mode.

I want to be able to choose the color of my lips, hair, eye color and the shape of my face just like in "The Sims", as well as social behaviour aspects that could effect the AI. Then lets rename the game in "The Arms" and build homes and bases by earning money in the war :D:rolleyes: -
I never understood why BIS did not simply show every useful object in the editor by default. After all it's only one config setting that is applied anyway. It simply makes no sense at all!

You dare to call me lazy? I've certainly created more missions than you I suppose. I don't apologize to you or any other guy for not investing more time into research. I guess you never experienced the force of real life. Now according to your "humble" opinion everyone who can not effort more time for this game should stay away from it. Fine, won't buy any more ArmA games, not caring for anything regarding this community anymore. Reducing activity in this forum doesn't seem to be bad idea anyway.

I guess I don't like the future itself :p So playing in future environments and settings doesn't attract me :D I might change my mind when the future becomes past. :) I like the past. -
It may be a surprise for you, but there are some people who work 50-60 hours a week and sadly having family and friends who decrease ArmA-time anyway. It's not funny if you ask your customer to complete a documentation for you. If I would ask this to my customer I would get a shitstorm from them and an appointment with my superiors.
