ArmA2 / OA (low) performance issues

I'm having some really bad performance issues with ArmA 2 OA. I don't think I should be having these with my current system. My system specs Core i7 930 ATi 5870 1GB 6GB DDR3 Windows 7 64 bit It runs just as bad as it did on my old PC. What can I do to make it playable? -
Does it just fix the HDR values or does it completely remove it?

Okay the sound are working. You have to unpack the missions add the sounds into the folder and repack them to make them work. If you update a mission would I need to repack the sounds again?

I didn't have to replace anything I just dropped the folders with the sounds in the missions folder.

I have all sounds up and it doesn't give any errors and I can play all the .ogg files in winamp just fine.

Here you go. http://ifile.it/hjmr586 And the final destination of the sound files should be this correct? example C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\Missions\OFP\01TakeTheCar.ABEL\Sound\s01r01.ogg For the first sound line of that mission.

I'd love to see the weapon animations released as a stand alone addon.

Thanks the missions are working now! 1 last small little problem I coped the mission sound files from my OFP installation like you instructed on the first page but when I play a mission I don't get the sounds.

Hey guys excellent mod I've been wanting to replay the old OFP maps in ArmA for quite a while. I've got some problems though. When I load up a mission like clean sweep or steal the car it loads just fine and about 2 seconds into it I get a nice crash to desktop. I hope there's a fix to this I'd really like to try your guy's work.

I think the Shilka sounds great - what's bugged about it? For me it only plays one bang sound and then after about 3 seconds another one plays. It should sound like any other automatic weapon.

The Shilka sound is really bugged.

Really great sound mod! Only complaint is that the M240 and M249 have too much hiss in them and have almost no pop. Keep up the good work.

I know you can do this to some lesser extent in some missions but is there a mod or cheat that will let me fully customize my teams and my own load out before each mission campaign and single?

Hey I've looked around and found a topic saying I could use goldwave to convert my .wav weapon sounds into .wss but when I try them out ingame they sound nothing like they do in goldwave. They sound like cap guns going off compared to the original sounds. Is goldwave not saving them right? Do any of you know of a program that will save them correctly?

Finally weapon models with animated bolt carriers! The sounds for the weapons are also very nice. -
This could be that the packs were made for 1.07 but I'm using the base mod and the WW2 pack and some of the weapons crash the game.

Hey Chammy, I've been using your latest public release and I love all the sounds but I was wondering if you are going to "beef" up the sounds any in the next release? The sounds are really good but lack punch.

Hey excellent mod I love all the effects you've added. I'm having one small problem with it though. Whenever I make a quick mission with a group of soldiers when I preview it and play it I get this spam of blue text that looks like errors for a good 15 seconds then it goes away. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? The mods I have installed at the moment are the FDF sound mod, DM smoke effects and Yomies mod.
