    Opteryx, your two maps are wonderful and have brought a whole new feel to Arma. I have one query though, the public key packed with the releases does not appear to work with your packaged bisigns. Our server has sig checking on and I've had to sign the .pbo's myself with our kelly's public key which is a bit of a pain since other public players need to download our bisigns to connect. I wonder if you could perhaps re-sign your pbo's with your private key and create a new public key from the private key when/if you release a map update and hopefully that will sort the issue out.     If EAX is enabled in the ARMA sound options try turning it off. You will have to restart ARMA for the change to take affect. See if that makes any difference.

    I think you can just define one that exists inside the pbo and that is enough for the whole pbo to be blocked.

    The reason your installation is not blocking the mods that you have listed is because dooacs does not key off the mod name. Why would it if you actually think about it?. Mods can be renamed. Quote (Doolittle @ Jan. 09 2008,10:49) uncompress the config.bin file to config.cpp text and look for CfgPatches entry and get the name used. Meaning un-pbo the mod you wish to block and find the CfgPatches entry, then use that name in your dooacsconfig.sqf dooacsDisabledPatches string.

    'voip' is not a supported command. The 'disableVoN = 0;' ( together with 'vonCodecQuality' & 'VonID' ) command enables 'voice over ip' on the server. What this means is that it enables Arma's built in voice communications. Setting 'persistent = 1;' does indeed keep the mission running once all players have left however it also needs to be enabled within the actual missions file (pbo) too otherwise as you have found out it will not work.

    You need to sign your addons with your private key then add them (bisigns) to you local machine's '@my_mod/addons' folder. Upload the public key to the server. Read here

    Made a test with 25-30 players yesterday and players constantly connecting and disconnecting. Good thing, allmost no JIP lag, some small errors, but.... the server crashed again. The reason, millions of... So I'll now wait for the next patch and do not release anything until it's out. All server versions before 1.11 were totally stable compared to the new server versions. Maybe one crash in a week but with 1.14 we encounter somtimes four to five crashes in one day. Xeno Xeno, I love the Domination 3 mission however we have had to remove them from our server (3.0 - 3.05) since we keep getting the same crash as you've experienced: GetOutAny soldier EAST :4 already in landscape Entity listed twice. Unit is not in cargo Is it something to do with the paradrops because the crashes seem to happen then? (but not always). Just posting my support and I hope it's resolved soon. Edit: Just noticed that you've released version 3.08. I'll give it a test and report back.

    Dootlittle's Dooacs will do the job for you. Install the addon serverside and edit the 'dooacsconfig.sqf' file. You will need to find out what the correct cfgPatches entry is for the addons that you want to block but this can be done by un-pbo'ing the addons files and looking it up. Dooacs does not key off the addon.pbo name only it's cfgPatches entry name. Add the addon's cfgPatches entry to the list. Example: Add the following to 'dooacsconfig.sqf' to block XAM 1.3 & XAM 1.4: dooacsDisabledPatches = "[""""XAM_classes"""", """"XAM_Markers""""]"; I hope this helps.

    If that question is for me then the answer is that it is not run on the server. What we are talking about is allowing it to be run by CLIENTS who connect and play on the server. Client addons have an impact serverside regardless. This is the nature of the Arma game code's architecture.

    When running this clientside whilst connected to our multiplayer server the arma_server.rpt file fills up with the following errors constantly; 6 meg file in 1 hour!.     Hmm, if there was a problem it's intermittent. I tried restarting the server over and over until Gamespy finally responded. Not the first time Gamespy has been flaky btw.

    Anyone else who runs a server notice that the Gamespy Master Server seems to be unresponsive to challenges since 21.00 GMT yesterday? Server log: Warning Message: No challenge value was received from the master server. GameSpy QR2 error: 5, No challenge value was received from the master server.     For information. Our server just had it's first crash on Warfare v1.0M 32 Players. Server was full at the time.

    Ok I'm baffled too. Our server has not crashed yet on Warfare and it's been on plenty. 15:57pm - 1:54am. 9 different Coops completed. No crashes and a very busy and full server 30 -35 players all night. I cannot see much of a pattern emerging.
